Sorry to report that my daughter's party for all my late wife's family in St. Louis, must, at least this time, take precedence!

I hope all newbies and oldies have the usual ball at Crisper's on 6/18! I'll think of y'all as I board my flight to St. Louis!

I am so grateful that we G's have unaccented speech as all people from Ohio do. :angel:

Steve, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, I don't mean to be critical of your intent. And, I realize I may be overstepping some boundaries since I don't yet live in TV.

However, isn't it time someone else step up to the plate and relieve KathieI of photo duty? She graciously arranges many gatherings. Shouldn't there be a rotation of photo duty, at the very least?

Again, not intending to be critical. Just trying to support KathieI. She does so much as it is. As someone who used to organize many activities, the responsibility can be draining after a while. Can't others' volunteer with some of the duties/activities?

I totally agree that Our Very Own Mayor shouldn't have to worry about such little things anymore.

But, it's such fun to "nag" her, especially when sometimes the party's almost over before she begins taking any pix! chilout

No overstepping so far as I'm concerned.

6-18-10 Luncheon
 

20 People attended today's event. Not bad for out of season and a few of the regulars unable to be there. This is about my 24th. Pics can be found at:

I'm surprised to see peeps sitting outside on the patio. I thought it was 100 degrees in TV this time of year! I'm in Canada and finding 80 degrees hot!

... DickY probably would have got me picking my nose too. It is like yawning, isn't it? When one looks like he/she is doing it, the others start.

Good plan, BKC, if it were only that easy to prevent the picture taking! We've all tried. Turning your back to the camera only makes your a-- look bigger. :yuck:

Those who demand pictures have probably never appeared on TOTV looking old, chubby, doddery and possibly, picking their nose!

No we haven't, but we can't wait until we do!:thumbup:
