It is good when any President visits The Villages. How many communities our size get this kind of attention?

My guess is that if you did not get an invitation to the August 6, 2019 planned Trump Sharon visit, then you will probably not be getting one for this October event.

Yes, but still, it is the President and as such the Office of the President, honors TV, in my opinion.

Not sure about you, but I received an email directly FROM TALK OF THE VILLAGES. But we can't discuss politics or even mention anything even remotely related.

That sort of, for me, makes any appeal....let's say....just a lot of words.

Any time a President of the USA come to TV it is a watershed event . Whatever your politics, can we at least come together to honor the office? Medicare is in trouble, and all of us here are on Medicare. At least our President is taking time from the demands of his office to come here and listen and gather input on this issue. I would ask you, who was the last high office person to do that??? I'll wait, but I don't expect an answer. Shame on those who would turn this thread into another diatribe.
