Warning - new groome transportation
 

Beware. I was sucked in by the $19 special to the airport. They didn't show up! And - they still charged my credit card. It was a mess. Thankfully, my wife drove me to the airport - and just barely made my flight. I sent a complaint to them - and - they didn't even respond.

Did you get a confirmation on the address you were to be picked up at?

the 19.00 offer should have been a clue unless they are a philanthropic operation and want to give back to The Villagers :)

Contact your CC company to get your money back, then call seniors against crime and file a complaint and the BBB if this is a real company.

On next door neighbor 17 people have used them, on time, polite, very happy with the experience

My sister just used Groome this morning for $19. They were on time and the driver was courteous and friendly. The driver said she'd be the only passenger all the way to Orlando airport. I called yesterday and this morning to reconfirm (you have to do that nowadays) and someone answered the phone right away both times.

Give this service a try. For $19 all the way to Orlando airport, it's a no-brainer. And it will only stay here if people use them.

Groome’s transportation is a nationwide company that is great, used them in Virginia quite often, never had an issue with them I used them within National Airport and Dulles in DC and Richmond, real reasonable and great equipment courteous drivers.

I used them yesterday. They have a 45min window to pick you up from the time stated on the confirmation. It is nerve-wracking waiting though that I called after 30 minutes of waiting. I will use them again but will add an extra hour for the pickup.

We used them yesterday. Showed up right on time. We received a confirmation the day before with pick up time address and drop off information. Very professional. Will definitely book them again in the future. We had a 3 am pick up for an early morning flight. There were 3 other passengers on the shuttle. Sorry you had a bad experience but our experience was very positive.

I have used them twice so far in the last week and may have to fly out again this weekend. I intend on using them again. They give a big window for pick up and arrival at MCO logic tells you that if one person is slow getting to and on the van that snowballs.
I had two different drivers both were very courteous and helpful.

When was this?

I have had the same problem twice with Villages Transportation, now Workman, not showing to pick me up. Both times I had to call to find out where they were and they sent someone late and held the bus for me. $15 just from my home to Brownwood.

Used them last week on Feb 5 and had a great experience. On time and friendly. Even if it is an introductory price it beats the $50 that workman charges and their equipment is considerably newer

There fees:first 2 bags free, after that 24.00,golf bags 24.00, pet 24.00.

Dispute the charge
 

Call you bank or credit card company and dispute the charge. They will give you back your money if the car service won’t.

Considering tolls, gas, insurance and drivers, $19 can't be making the company much profit.

There are several off-site parking lots near the orlando airport, i have used " park to fly" for several years ( over 25 times ).if traveling for a vacation, at $ 7/day, it's alot cheaper than the village van, esp. If traveling as a couple. Trip to airport is about and hour and unlike up north there is never any traffic on the turnpike.
Give it a shot.

So sorry you had a bad experience, but I am sure they didn’t start their day planning on ruining yours. They are a new company and probably have kinks to work out, and unfortunately you were one of those kinks. I hope you give them another chance....seems like many happy customers here

Like they say Dharrisoncmo, “If it sounds to good to be true it probably is”. For $19. didn’t you really think this could been a scam. Really sorry you got took for $19. but next time I hope you check this “ To Good to be True $19. place out”. Or just suck it up & pay the 40 or $50. Villages Transportation. Be Glad you only got took for $19.

I used them this Monday coming back from the airport. Driver was very nice, vans are new and nice. Will use them again for sure!

It’s a national company. Have used them many times before they came to TV. Always reliable, on time. I would say within our immediate family we have used Grooms at least 50 times.
I rarely read a complaint from a brand new poster. Grooms could put a crimp on other businesses. It looks like Workman is posting $35 fare instead of $40. So that’s a plus
