Losing count; What number Obama Lie is this?
 

Mandatory Health Care we have to pay for whether we want it or not and whether we like it or not, by Government Decree, because now Obamanation has proclaimed or admitted that this is a TAX.

After months of denying this the Obamanation has said that Obamacare is a TAX and thus we have no choice because this is the Government purview to install new taxes and we have to pay it before we can even request a refund if we think we deserve an exemption.

This is the first time in history we, the American people, are required, by law, to use our own money to buy a product and service.

When will the remaining people still under the influence of the kool-aid realize how their freedoms are disappearing one by one.

My real problem is how to lay this at the feet of GW Bush. I'm sure that the Obama apologists are going to try or at least say GW did something similar; as in "Here's the new boss, same as the old boss".

Our core values have been in decline for some time now and since we the people do not object, we continue to have deterioration. I don't have to list them you know what we have lost and are losing.

Now the freedoms are up for play to acomodate the Obama agenda.

During the campaign, which is his ongoing status, he said he would bring change. But he never said, whether we like it or not.

His value to non American entities far outweigh his value to we the people. And his actions to date demonstrate, he could care less what we the people think.

Washington DC needs an enema more as each day goes by.

I feel sorry for the Liberals, lefties, etc.

I have met some of them who live here in TV's.

They seem like nice American, normal people.

I feel sorry for them because they must really feel terrible having voted for Obama thinking he was a Democrat and now realizing he is so far right he is on a path to destroy their way of life along with that of with we conservatives.

Besides the lies about the "Affordable Care Act," or health care reform, imposing new taxes and allowing government subsidized abortions, I think it is interesting to note the new role the US Dept. of Justice is playing in this Affordable Care Act.

Not just in the sense of defending against the lawsuits by the Attorney Generals, of what is it now, 16 states against the unconstitutionality of the health care reform, but the new agency HEAT.

HEAT or Health Care Fraud Prevention Enforcement Action Team, is a cabinet-level initiative launch by the Department of Health and Human Services and the DOJ in May 2009 under the authority of Obama. Among many new powers granted to HHS and the DOJ, Obama has given them the power to conduct Payment Recapture Audits to look into your medical records to determine appropriate payments for appropriate medical services.

Rationed socialized health care or whatever you want to call it to make yourself feel better is being established right under our noses.

Agree. As long as the Democrats find a place to get the money from, they can renew the benefits. But that means some kind of budget which they do not remember how to do.

If you are pro-life, then don’t deny the poor children proper health care.

If you are a Christian, then refer back to the Sermon on the Mount before you deny help to the needy. And then, form your opinion about health care, border crossers, etc. You just might be wrong.

I retired during GOP rule so to get a feel for the future, I look to the poor, the sick, the handicapped, the unemployed and I see things getting better now as opposed to the last 6 to 8 years. I understand that if you wish to say the heck with the sick or the weak, that is fine, but when you say stop welfare, be sure you look at the face of everyone eating that free cheese. If you see the small children, the elderly and the handicapped and you still say the heck with them, then I will stand by your right to defend your position. But if you only refer to the 30 year old man that is lazy, that is not enough for me to support your denial to the true needy.

My hat is off to you for responding as an Obama supporter.

You no doubt have noted this forum is very opinionated and outspoken. The biggest differences of opinion usually wind up going awry when either side quotes party talking points only with no basic substantiation. Opinions are each to his own. For me, belief, comes with facts and proof. Many of us (either party) are of the "show me" ilk.

And at this particular point in time you are definitely a minority participant. You no doubt have the courage of your convictions for wandering in here and tossing your hat in the ring. Just remember it gets warm in the kitchen.
It is a pity that so many of your belief have abandoned this forum...they have done so after finding personal shots don't add value...bashing the past is not acceptable...and a 100% attitude if you are not for my guy you are either a racist or an idiot.

It is nice to see you back. I hope you come to challenge others and get your views across. Not to just throw rhetoric and be, as some on both sides do, a hit and runner.

I am closer to being conservative than liberal. I don't want to give away the farm, but I cannot watch any social or financial group suffer. When I hear MY MONEY or MY HARD WORK, I feel the point most missed is that the majority of those that did not make it big in this great country did in fact try hard to do so. I have known so many good people over the years that have made it to the top of the money wagon yet still complain vigorously when the unfortunate want things like health care, education and a safe environment to live in. Most of us take these crucial issues on as just another monthly payment like the car insurance or groceries. If you live comfortable in The Villages and disagree with my opinion on this, COULD YOU POSSIBLY BE A LITTLE GREEDY. I also don't want socialism, but could we not just allow the low end of our population to have the basic comforts of a rich life like we have. Don't forget the saying "for the grace of GOD, there go I"
Certainly not all, but I see many of my friends that Scream PRO-LIFE say no to helping the poor children with PROPER health care and education. If you don't plan to help them along the road to success, then keep you opinion to yourself and let those responsible for the future of the child make the very difficult choice.

First of all, kudos for you venturing into political and making your viewpoint known. Too many do not but complain about those who do share thoughts, so let me say that first.

Now, the motive for your vote in 2008 is a bit cloudy to me. First of all, neither Bush nor Chaney were running for office. Secondly, the message you are giving to us is, and not trying to corner you, but it IS the message of the Democratic party and was for TWO years.

I will also add that NOBODY ever on here or in any forum I have ever heard has disavowed the poor or needy !!! NOBODY !!! I do hear and agree that there are folks that are on "the take" that live for that..they EXPECT that. That, in my opinion, is not what this country needs or has ever wanted. Polices that assist those who need get back on their feet are great. Those that give and give and offer no help are doing us not one bit of good.

It is my opinion, that this country...no, it is not an opinion..it is fact...that this country is filled with the most giving people in the world but frankly I see the giving appearing to be diminishing simply because of the current administration's policy.

You criticize those on here who oppose Obama and imply they dont care about others, and that is patently not only unfair but untrue. Again you are oversimplifying it all. To be against government programs that simply dole out money for whatever reason does not make you someone who is spoiled or not caring.

Allow me to use the housing problem which has affected everyone rich, poor and in between. It was programs made to allow the folks you talk about to buy homes..no questions...they cant get a mortgage and somehow it was decided they DESERVE it. Ok...programs put in place to GIVE....and you see the results.

You are labeling anyone who is against HAND OUTS as someone who is against CHARITY and GIVING. THERE is a huge difference

A very good friend of mine is a surgeon from Florida. His office was beside an abortion clinic. He told me the story of going to and from work every day watching the protesters on both sides. He and his wife were born again Christians. They'd pray for the women and hoped they'd see the error of their ways and prayed for God's mercy upon them.

He told me that one day at lunch, the crowd wasn't too big and he went over, sort of called to go over, and talked to some of the pro-Abortion protesters. He wanted to know what motivated them to support something he found fundamentally wrong.

During the discussion, one of the women said something that stuck in his mind and he took it home to his wife, and then they both took it to God in prayer. The woman told my friend something along the lines of, well if they don't kill the babies, are you going to adopt one to support or complain when you have to support it on welfare?

Well, they later adopted three. The point, he told me, wasn't that they had changed his mind about abortion being right or wrong. The point was he saw he wasn't doing anything to help the problem and personally took it upon himself to help a child and a mother. He said his children are living proof abortion is wrong, but he put his beliefs into action.

He said supporting abortions didn't solve the wrongs presented by his beliefs against abortion. Just like supporting assistance to the poor doesn't solve the problems of the poor. Getting the government involved and taking money from people in the form of taxation to solve a problem doesn't make sense to me anymore than supporting taxpayer assistance to those in need of better health care or better public education or housing to solve the problem.

It just doesn't make sense to me how throwing money at a problem and growing government helps.

PLEASE keep posting what you feel. I can tell you that I have learned a lot from discussions and debates in forums. For some reason, those who have opposite views meaning left leaning or Democratic shy away from here. I realize that most posters now are leaning right, but during the campaign these folks felt strongly and have just disappeared.

Some will say that they get attacked personally when they come on here...I dont see that, and got to tell you during the campaign I was called a racist, bigot, Bushie and much much more on here AND IN PMS. I survived and so will you !~

Disclaimer: I do not watch Beck on TV. I have seen bits and pieces, but I rarely have the television on during the day.

What is it that he says that gets the left so angry and hateful? I have never seen so much hate and venom aimed at a TV personality like I have seen aimed at Mr. Beck.
Surely all this hate is not bringing us closer to the middle.

I agree with much of what Glen Beck says, but the way he says it is what makes him hard to take. No one wants to ridiculed. Being of a different opinion does not make one brain dead, just different thats all. Mr Beck smirks at those that disagree with him in a way that reminds me of an X smoker or reformed alcoholic. Now that he finally understands whats perfect, if you don't agree with his ideals, you should self destruct to further his cause.

To me Mr Beck is like a car accident that you wish would not be there, but can't seem to look away. I just feel he fuels the fire of hate and misunderstanding between left and right. Without his kind, we could do so much good for this country as partners for improvement. Give me this as truth and I will give you the thumbs up on many of your opinions that I do in fact agree with. Give me nothing and I will be sarcastic as with my earlier posts and spew trash like the majority on this forum. I will be happy to work with you but will not be dictated to.
