Maybe I'm wrong

I was watching television and yet another Dan Newlin ad came on. I actually paid attention. Is it me, or did he get buff! Sure looks like he's hit the gym!

patfla06 04-06-2020 02:56 PM

He does look much better.
I think he stopped making his hair blond. ☺️

A lawyer that uses the background from the "twilight zone" song for his commercial, maybe....

Villageswimmer 04-06-2020 03:58 PM

His hair is different and he looks younger. I didn’t recognize him at first. Good on him!

Topspinmo 04-06-2020 04:19 PM

When you need a man! Call Dan!

CWGUY 04-06-2020 04:58 PM

:1rotfl: My favorite lawyer joke:

What does a lawyer get when you give him Viagra? Taller. :icon_wink:

John_W 04-06-2020 05:09 PM

Dan's started out as an EMT and then a police officer in New Chicago, Indiana. Later he moved to Florida and became a deputy sheriff in Orange County. While working as a cop he went to school at night and got his BA and also his law degree.

Don’t think it’s twilight zone music, sounds like golden earring

The song is called Twilight Zone by Golden Earring from their album "Cut". It came out in 1982, they're not a one hit wonder, Radar Love was 9 years earlier.

Got the hots for ol Danny?

dmarti1973 04-07-2020 06:41 AM

Maybe he cannot visit that Mexican restaurant near his office due to the pandemic and it shows already??????? Remember, clients boast what they were awarded, but not what was put in their pocket. Keep in mind that every time he gets a large verdict, every responsible Floridian with car insurance sees their premium rise. There is no doubt that some deserve the award, but there are many who are faking it. We have hours of surveillance tape to prove it. We love taking someone's deposition telling us what they cannot do any longer. Once the depo is over, we pop the tape in. One person ripped their knee brace off and threw it and their crutches across the room and stormed out. It happens every day, folks!!!

Kerry Azz 04-07-2020 06:59 AM

I don’t believe that!

Insurance companies and their adjusters are as crooked as the clients putting in a exaggerated claim, Trust me I know this as fact. I only know Who Dan is from his billboards and tv commercials. Good for him getting his name out there and making a few bucks. The comment on our rates going up because of every claim is ludicrous.:ohdear:

Social media ambulance chaser..You call him

davem4616 04-07-2020 07:34 AM

if there's only one lawyer in town, that lawyer barely makes a living...when there's at least two lawyers in town they become millionaires

In a "No Fault" state, such as FL, how does an attorney get such high awards for their clients? Dan Newlin's ads are what I'm talking about - $200k, $500k are the average. Also, how do you receive compensation from a driver who doesn't have insurance, and there are injuries involved?

We're originally from OH, and car insurance is an absolute must.

I noticed it too, but also noticed he is not wearing a suit and tie but a golf shirt- more casual. It does work well for him :)

He's gotta do something since he's not piling up DUIs any longer.

mixsonci 04-07-2020 10:39 AM

I think it's because he's wearing just a shirt and not his usual suit and tie, his biceps are more exposed this way. We don't usually see him like this.

Marlnew 04-07-2020 12:32 PM

I was thinking the same thing! Maybe a face lift??

Without getting into an argument, I’d say that much of our insurance rates go up because of not insured and under insured drivers. Not to mention all the bullsh$& claims that are allowed into the courts to begin with.

Maybe Dan got rear ended by a -------whatever and got a big settlement from Morgan and Morgan.

Most people aren't aware that before Morgan & Morgan was an obnoxious lawyer on TV, he was a child actor in the Pee Wee Herman movies.:icon_wink:

Even if you have the mandatory insurance, Florida only requires a $10,000 per person liability policy for bodily injury.
