Jim Baumgartner has retired!!!!

Yup, it's true! Jim will no longer have his hands in the mud and muck fixing your sprinklers! It has been his greatest honor serving so many Villagers these past fourteen years. He LOVED being able to go to work each day making people happy by addressing their irrigation needs. Now the baton is passed to two great young men whom Jim trained until they started their own businesses - Joe Tucker (352) 430-5615 or Brent Mauriell at (352) 250-2573. Please call them for your future needs! And be on the lookout for Jim in that same hat out and about in The Villages!

villagetinker 05-24-2020 03:54 PM

I hope Jim has a long and great retirement.

thelegges 05-24-2020 04:32 PM

So happy for him, no so happy for all the broken sprinkler heads.

champion6 05-24-2020 04:49 PM

Hey, Jim. The best is yet to come! Enjoy your retirement.

rjn5656 05-24-2020 07:40 PM

Good luck Jim. Thanks for all your hard work.

Sparty6971 05-24-2020 07:46 PM

Congratulations to Jim on taking an official retirement (again?) and thanks for training others to continue the services. It's a loss for many of us but well deserved.

JoMar 05-24-2020 09:33 PM

Have a great retirement and thanks for all the support. I guess the real question is, can Holly survive with you home all the time :)

Imadancer 05-25-2020 05:44 AM

Jim, Our best to you. Thank you for your service and sharing your knowledge with us.

jamorela 05-25-2020 05:45 AM

Jim referred me to Brent Mauriell of Simply Sprinklers. He is a nice young man who did a good job at a very reasonable price.

dewilson58 05-25-2020 05:48 AM

Congrats, but who is Jim???

Pisha 05-25-2020 06:03 AM

Hello Holly,

Best wishes for you and Jim. I had several emergencies that Jim was able to fix in short order. I glad to hear that you guys are going to enjoy some well deserved retirement. I guess this means I will have to stop recommending Jim to all my friends and neighbors. Enjoy!

Ed Morgan (Larry Morgan's brother)

tedquick 05-25-2020 05:05 PM

Thanks, Jim

Jim was always my "go to" guy.

Thanks for all your help each and every time, Jim.

Enjoy your retirement (apparently "again". :) )

redwitch 05-25-2020 05:35 PM

Jim was always at the top of my list for my clients and myself. Congrats, Jim, on your retirement. Holly, my condolences on having Jim around the house so much more. (Wonder how long it will take Jim to explain how everything works in the kitchen and the easiest way to repair it should it ever break.)

Bay Kid 05-26-2020 06:28 AM

You will really be missed Jim. Not only are you the best at what you do you were always FUN!

rugbyjohn 05-26-2020 08:55 AM

Jim - Enjoy retirement. You were a great resource as well as an honest businessman. If you recommend the 2 gentlemen referenced then that is who I will call. Have a great time, not working. Cheers

bilcon 05-26-2020 10:42 AM

So sorry to see you retire, but I can't blame you. Enough is enough. I have used Joe Tucker, and he is very good. Thanks Jim for all the service you gave us.
