Dog poop in little blue bags
I went out for my newspaper this morning it was just after the trash truck left only to find a gift left by a dog walker. A nice filled blue dog poop bag on my lawn! I don't own a dog. I put my trash out in one big black trash bag.
I'm just writing this to tell that inconsiderate ENTITLED person to take your dog poop back to your house with you and don't leave it for the trash person to pick it up and don't leave it on mine or someone else's yard. I have a ring doorbell and will be posting your photo on Facebook later today. I hope your friends don't recognize you! Shame on you! |

Thank you thank you! Dog poop is back! Such a breath of fresh air (pun intended). Never thought I'd miss it.

It may of been intentionally? Could of blown out of golf cart. I know even that sucks.

Conveniently landed right next to my big black trash bag on my lawn! Yuuuuuup, at least a half pound of it blows right out of their golf cart. |
I assume you will still object and I personally do not do this, but some dog walkers will set a bag down as they walk away from home and then pick it up as they return. Now do we want to get into the my yard vs public right of way discussion?
Maybe give it 30 minutes to see if the bag disappears. If not, then raise an issue. |
I just put it in the street

Public right-of-way and easements are for specific, documented use, not for indiscriminate use by the general public as desired. |

In Virginia, we had sidewalks on both sides of every street. A lot of people walked on them, including kids going school. When I found a pile of dog crap in our yard, I just put it on the sidewalk where others would walk on it. Since we have never had a dog, no one ever blamed us for the disgusting mess. |

I think that was awful, everyone should treasure and keep and dispense with their own dog poop. I don't think anyone should ever use dog poop as a retaliatory measure. I can't wait to see the picture from your porch camera. I love it when people get caught doing what they shouldn't be doing....and I am so glad I did all that stuff before there was the internet. ;) |

POST THEIR PIC! |
What a crappy subject
What next white cross trolls ? |
i confess. i did this ONE time, but it was in a public area & not left on private property. we were @ the square & had an appt... lil pug had unexpected issues to tend with while on our way. i couldnt walk the bag to the interior building,-- just wasnt possible. (major ewww! factor) i left little blue bag next to the curb near the trash. on our way out, i collected the bag & disposed of it @ home. i know my pets aren't your problem, but considerate owners will follow the rules & act accordingly. i go out of my way to keep the pets from affecting others--it's common respect. :doggie:

When I was little and we got a dog we were told the rules/etiquette of owning a dog. As kids, we were not allowed to set foot on someone else's property unless invited. Same rule applied when walking the the dog. Got yelled at when I let the dog follow his nose. "Keep that animal off my lawn". When Dad found out, I was in double trouble. "If you can't keep the dog off the neighbors lawn we'll have to get rid of it". I learned that if I want a dog then I must be willing to take responsibility for all of its needs and not expect the neighbor to have to provide pee, poop or play space for my pet. Taking a dog to restaurants, markets or shopping was unthinkable. Fast forward. I was in line at a local bank about a year ago trying to juggle my phone, checkbook and several other items when the lady behind me let her dog lick my bare leg behind the knee. I was so startled I jumped, nearly falling and dropping everything. She giggled, smiled sweetly and said "oh, he just loves everybody." I simply reminded her that not everyone loved him back. Had I been injured or damaged my phone she would not have gotten off so lightly. It seems to me that many dog owners have lost their minds. I have had eight dogs in my life and loved and cared for them all, but I never forgot that they were dogs and not children in costumes. |
