The virus & BLM
The virus is real. We are told beach goers, bars, restaurants, churches, etc. all are the problem. Not BLM marches, riots and protest. They are OK?

1000 health and medical workers recently penned and signed a letter supporting BLM protests: (but not other types of protests) We can show that support by facilitating safest protesting practices without detracting from demonstrators’ ability to gather and demand change. This should not be confused with a permissive stance on all gatherings, particularly protests against stay-home orders. Those actions not only oppose public health interventions, but are also rooted in white nationalism and run contrary to respect for Black lives matter. Learn to live with it. We were told that you know.

If anyone at a blm protest gets the virus we will find that the fault is us white racists.
|
BLM protesters don't respect their own people or cause ! Why should anyone else?
Show some respect for your own people and the rest will resolve it self ..Till then just keep killing each other Leave the dam kids alone ..Your BLM actions have ruined many a young life far greater than any police interactions have |

Actually, politicians have it right. Allow BLM full access to the streets and give them a free venue to get sweaty and pass their deadly virus from one to another. That way, we get rid of a lot of trouble makers and no one is the wiser. Since it is an election year, everyone is on board with the theme that there is a systemic racism in America, and no politician will criticize or condemn the protests in fear that they will lose votes. On the other hand, if the virus takes out a few hundred or thousands, no one is to blame but themselves. Typical of chicken liver politicians.

This group is the most heinous, incendiary and terroristic bunch of people who continue to be given free rein by the mealy mouth politicians and business entities who are afraid to lose votes or business. Our first amendment rights are being systematically destroyed. No one has the guts to speak up for fear of offending the perpetually offended crowd. I speak up for America and against those who wish to destroy her. I emigrated from a communist country (Cuba) and what's happening here happens there daily. The similarities are terrifying and If we want totalitarianism and oppression, look no further than 90 miles south of Key West.

you got that right Stu from NYC -- I'm from NY as well and can vouch who the real troublemakers are and they get away with far too much!!!!

Most of the protesters wore masks

Fear of BLM is their way to take control. This is a racist, hateful, terrorist group. They are fully backed by one group. Make a donation to them and follow the money, easy to do.
Enough protesting. What are their demands? Who is in charge of them? What the heck will make them happy? |

Yes ... data shows no spike after the protests. Reasoning may be simply that there were so many masks. The Tulsa indoor rally for the president, on the other hand, did show big results. Indoors.
Here's an interesting piece from MIT. Relates to indoor spaces and scientists’ evolving thinking. I hope it helps. If the coronavirus is really airborne, we might be fighting it the wrong way If the coronavirus is really airborne, we might be fighting it the wrong way | MIT Technology Review Takeaways: Staying Safe: “strict mask use” … “the virus sheds like crazy” …. but for masks to really stop the transmission they have to be tight and worn all the time (even around family) .. “sanitizing every single surface … huge waste of time.” Variables: longer time indoors … restaurants, bars, offices, classrooms, churches. Ventilation needs to be a higher priority (big problem in older buildings). UV Light dissipates the virus in air in less than a minute. Advice = stay in well ventilated areas with as few people as possible and spend as little time as possible in enclosed spaces. |

Their demands? To be able to live without fear. To be treated with equality, respect, and dignity. Make them happy, not to be killed because they are black. |

Oh, they wouldn’t dare blame BLM or is it, OnlyBLM.

All of the above
All of the above were part of the increases we have seen. Irresponsible people ls behavior Will always create negative outcomes
|
The peaceful protests were outside and most wore masks difference from being in a restaurant and bar with no mask and close contact. And to distinguish the riots were not the majority of peaceful protesters. NOne should have been out but I understand why they all were of all colors protesting for what should have been taken care of years ago... racism

Not ok. It’s a joke. The mayor of New York has lost his mind. How did anyone get a job like that with the mentality of a grape. The news is a lot of the blame. They never say the protesters are spreading of the virus , but the bars beaches are the problem. Nobody can deny that fake news is real. You would think the news would not be impartial. Now because of there latest reputation, you don’t know what to believe. Simple as that

Everything they do not like is the fault of the old white guys. Sorry but do not believe that for a moment. This is the greatest country in the world and we owe a huge debt to the people who came before us. Do we have faults? Of course but we have made a huge amount of progress. |
