What's your favorite meal...
If you had no dietary restrictions and everything was available on the menu...what would you order?
A dozen jumbo steamed blue crabs and a few draft beers.
Not available in The Villages. |

Veal parm but a close second would be a good pizza
Thinking about it a bit would add a good crunchy fried chicken |
Linguica on Portuguese roll with peppers and onions.
My wife's Jaeger Schnitzel and pommes frites . Her Jaeger sauce is a meal all by it's self.

Fried chicken.

Now you've all gone and made me hungry!
I don't know how affected this is by nostalgia, but my late mother's spaghetti and her Thanksgiving dinners were legendary, especially the cornbread and sausage stuffing. She made the Italian sausage herself. I'd happily eat either of those for my last meal. My favorite thing I cook from scratch is corned beef hash, nice and crispy. |
Caesar Salad, French Onion soup, Veal Picatta with Asparagus Vinegarette and Polenata and Black Forest Cake
All you can eat Snow Crab Legs......with a nice white wine.
Grilled American cheese sandwich with lots of crispy bacon on rye bread with seeds cooked in a large amount of butter until the bread is a crispy dark brown bordering on burnt.

A ‘real’ Philadelphia cheesesteak! 👍
As someone who is almost exclusively plant based, the biggest temptation I have when I shop is a Supreme Pizza with extra cheese. I am only 155 lbs but have no problem wolfing down a large pizza all by myself.
I am not alone. "The University of Michigan study, published in the US National Library of Medicine, examined which foods caused people to display addictive tendencies. Using a sample of 504 students, the study found that pizza came out on top (perhaps unsurprisingly)." And the reason is According to the study, "the highly processed foods loaded with sugars and fats can cause changes in the dopamine system – involved in reward and pleasure – akin to drug abuse." Usually I am able to resist by remembering how unpleasant the "comedown" is and the plaque that gets dumped into my arteries. |
Lobster Tails w/drawn butter or Pizza :)
Lobster lobster and more lobster steamed baked or Lazy but never MAC and Cheese lobster.
1. Double bacon cheese burger with a mound of onion rings, ranch dressing for dipping. 2. Deep dish pizza w/ sausage pepperoni, green peppers, couple of beers.
That's a tough one: it's a toss up between a bacon cheeseburger and eggs, bacon, hash browns & toast.
Depends on what day it is.
Pizza!
A real 2lbs New England lobster.
Can I get mine with a pecan pie
Prime rib, medium rare, loaded mashed potatoes, garden salad with ranch dressing, some nice warm dinner rolls and a few beers.
Then I'd top it off with a hot fudge sundae, no nuts, with whipped cream and chocolate chip ice cream. |
Fried seafood combo platter with a fried lobster tail and a big ol' bowl of baked macaroni and cheese. Dessert would be a fresh strawberry whipped cream layer cake. All from a bygone time at special haunts in NJ.
