Hit and Run Jaguar
Anymore information on the Jaguar the hit the bicycles on Hillsborough? In the article the license plate number was published.
Should be easy to track it down unless it happened too fast or not light enough yet to get an accurate plate number from the witnesses. That person probably put it into their garage and hasn’t come out since. |
Along with plates comes address, even if a few numbers are wrong, I’m sure LEO has the ability to figure it out.

They got him; he is a druggie. It is in the news.

Looks like he goes in and out of jail on a regular basis. Hopefully this time he's locked up for good. My sympathies to the victim who will have no recourse, I doubt this driver had insurance.

Jaguar man
So, was Mr. Druggie from Orange Springs in The Villages at 7:00 a.m. to buy or sell?

If they got even part of the License Plate
# & they know it’s a Jag. They should of found it by now. How many Jags can be in TV. At least they didn’t say it was a Ford or Chevy! |

Vehicles with any illegal drugs whether found during a routine stop with cause or in this case as a vehicle used as a potentially lethal weapon are subject to seizure and confiscation. They are usually sold by the police
we and many others suggest using the funds from this one for driver, drug, and safety awareness towards cyclists. While many automobile owners and drivers often scorn bicyclists on 'their' roads, they should appreciate them . We own 9 vehicles for personal and business use and own two businesses with 25 employees back in Maryland - when we get backlash about using the roads for biking we try to get across that our tax payments are approaching $1m including fuel and others. when on our bikes we are taking up far less space, and creating far less impact on the roads and atmosphere. Bikes are our primary transportation when living in one of our TV homes. We moved here because of the biking and after 60years of serious riding, find the cycling community here to be among the most conscientious anywhere on the planet - and we've biked in over 30 countries. Please help get more drugged drivers off 'our' roads. Note alcohol is a drug. Larry and Linda |
I think that any proceeds from the police sale of that vehicle should go towards the victim. The poor man lost a lot of skin among other injuries, he must be suffering and the expenses he is incurring during his recovery can not be small.
