Pedi / Mani Suggestions
I helped relocate my mom into The Villages a few weeks ago and so far we both love the friendly and helpful nature of so many. I have noticed a high percentage of retail establishments appear to take customers for granted. We tried two different nail salons (not interested in mentioning) with disappointing results from both.
We would appreciate any suggestions and thank you in advance for the help. Chris |
Manicurist
Highly recommend Infinity on 301 at 466.
Quiet, clean with new equipment. Vivianne is a very competent technician. |
Thank you. Infinity caught my eye this morning driving by. Thanks.

I recently started using nails and beyond at lake deaton for both, Nancy is very good

Tuscany Salon & Spa in Lake Sumter Landing.

She'll weed out the bad ones as time goes on just like doctors, stylists, barbers, dog groomers, vets, restaurants, auto repair, etc. There are a lot of great professionals and retailers here but just like elsewhere there are bad ones too.

Paradise Nails near Walmart on 466A. ASK FOR YUDI! Don't go with anyone else in that salon. Good luck!
|
I very highly recommend Michael at Lavish Looks. I, too, had tried numerous nail salons prior to finding this place. It is located on Rt.466A, about a mile or so past Colony. It’s worth the drive! Michael will not disappoint you!!!

Fancy Nails
I use Fancy Nail in the strip 441 near Starbucks. Call and ask for Kin. She is so kind and gives me early appointments. They have the best air filtration system I’ve ever seen in a spa. In most places I can’t stay more than a few minutes due to fumes. Not fancy nails, very enjoyable and no smells.

I’ve been going to Quang at Angela’s Nails for 10 years and couldn’t be more satisfied - at Palm Ridge Plaza, 101 and 466, behind CVS. Quiet, clean, respectful.
|
We both use Top Nails, behind the car wash on 441. Nice people and good service.
|
Try Happy Nails next to the Pep Boys along 42 in front of the Mulberry Shopping Center. They are great and have gone to great lengths to make their place safe. I have been going for years.

Jenny is good |
Tuscany is good but pretty expensive
|
Try WalMart. Less expensive and very good.

We’re Villages residents and our Daughter Angelica lives nearby. She works at Lavish Looks as a hair Stylist and there is also a nail Tech there. It’s located on the North side of 466A, 2 lights and one block West of where 466A ends at 44 in Fruitland Park. She has lots of pics if her good work & many more happy clients!

Signature Nails, Lake Sumter, ask for Hannah. She did a great job on my pedicure.

I like Bella Orchid on 441 also. I’ve used them for 2 years for powder dip nails and pedi. I make appts with “My”. I have an esthetician and nail license but enjoy the salon experience too. They do a good job on sanitation & sterilization per FL standards.

Wow! Thank You for all the suggestions. :bigbow: I realize there will always be a few outliers, although overall my experience in The Villages has been with amazing people.
