Looking for a ride from the Orlando airport
 

I have a friend flying in next week and I can’t get to the airport to pick him up. I am sure there are individuals and transportation services exclusive to TV but I’m not tech savvy and don’t know how to find them. Any suggestions would be very appreciated. :)

Call The Villages Transportation, or whatever it is called now. In phone book. Rent a one way Enterprise car. Drop off in Lake Sumter Landing.

Its called Workman Transportation. I give it A plus rating. Your friend can be dropped off at the square or at your door.

Villages Airport Van 352 241 2000
They will also drop you off at your house. Used several times, very reliable.
They also track the flight first any delays.

They have better hours than Workman Transportation, which I believe was shutdown for a while

Depends on location. Villages Airport Van used to be okay for us, when our house was in the "south" of The Villages. The last and final time we used it, it was a long, long ride due to the driver dropping people off starting in Fenney and working his way north.

Be careful with them. Sometimes they make long stops along way. Once took me 2 1/2 hrs to get home with them.

I spent more time in the van than in the airplane. Never again.

I was satisfied with The Villages Shuttle. But we were only 3 people (maybe a maximum of 10 people could be fit in) so if the shuttle had been full I can see how it could make the journey quite long. They dropped off the most southern people first, if that makes a difference to you. 352 241 2000

We have used Villages Airport Van several times and they were on time and very reliable. My husband has had to use them during Covid & they would only take 4 people but last week they took up to 6. Everyone was masked but if u r in a hurry to get home you may be disappointed- as one person said - if they have to drop off passengers from south to north it can be a long trip.
