What are the tents for at Rohan?
 

I drove by Rohan rec center and noticed a bunch of white tents in the parking lot close to the pool. Anyone know what they are for?

I would hope this means more vaccine is coming

Your question was answered earlier “lifestyle expo” but the main function is to have an outdoor location for tenants arriving Feb 1 to get their temporary resident ID’s

It’s for renter check-ins.

Wonder why it is not being held at Everglades Rec Center, which is larger. Bigger parking lot & more outside area.

They are for check in day of all the people that have rented homes through The Villages. They receive their keys and guest passes.

I think it was a very reasonable question. A call to Rohan would have delivered a correct answer in seconds.

Here’s the winner. Tents were there in December and January. The tight quarters in LSL may not be ideal for right now. Rohan easy to find, and is kind of in the middle, at least for this week

Probably snowbirds checking in for February
