Full service car wash
 

I have recently moved to The Villages and am looking for a full service (inside & out) car wash. I did a search on TOTV and all the threads I came up with were at least several years old. From what I’ve researched so far there is one in the middle of Leesburg and one in the middle of the Villages and that is pretty much it. I’m hoping there are some new ones that have opened up in the last 6 to 12 months that someone here knows about.

The Villages Car Wash does a great job. Max $30.00 plus tip for the standard car inside and out washes. Atlantis Car Wash has a “complete” service. I do not know the cost. Atlantis is located in from of Lowe’s on 441.

I hope it opens sooner than a month. My windows are so dirty I can't see a thing when I drive. I just keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

They're building fast, the 7/11 opened a couple of weeks ago and it's looks the car wash is almost finished. The red light to enter will be a right turn off 466A if you're headed toward Wildwood. It's the same light you would turn left to enter Pinellas Plaza or the Village of Pinellas.

Starbucks is in the Barclay Group development. The 7/11 and Car Wash are in the Beaumont Group, two different developers.

Looking for real “touch less” car wash, no brushes, horse blankets, etc.

Atlantis on 441 is the best car wash I've seen, other than a detail by an individual.

Sam's club has touchless and brush type.

Is the new car wash on 466A going to be full service like the Village Car Wash or just an exterior car wash where you vacuum and clean the inside yourself??

I have had two different vehicles done at the villages car wash. Both jobs were unacceptable.

The Villages Car wash does a great job....

Dont you have washer fluid in your car? If not, fill the container, flip the switch in the car and walaaaaa. Clean windows. Easy peasy. (Unless you have those damn love bugs!! 🙄

Atlantis on SR 441 is the best in the area.

You won't be able to find the car wash if your windows are that bad.

I can't say for sure, it isn't one of those with several open bays and sprayers overhead for you to do yourself. It's a long enclosed building with only one opening on the end, much like the Car Wash in front of the Belks Shopping Center at SS.

There are a number of individuals that offer car detailing at your home ....

From what I understand, they do a better job than any commercial car wash.

Consider that route as an option......

I think the one on 466A is not a full service. The one by Belk's is full service. If you are a POA member they take $1 off of each car wash.

The Villages Carwash is the best I have found but they recently went from $18 to $22 for the base wash. It is a complete interior/exterior service but that seems like a rather large increase to me.

I have been using The Villages Car Wash for years. They always do a good job on our suv for $30.00. I always get the Silver was with the dash (they armoural the dash). If you see something they didn’t do let them know and they will fix it.

The car wash on 441/27 near Lowes is the best car wash I have used. It cost about $23.00 for inside and out and takes about 45 minutes.

When Sweetwater Car Wash opens, it will have a full service option.

You must have gone on an off day. I have been using The Villages Car Wash for years and have never had anything but excellent results. I always get my cars detailed there before love bug season. They come off easier when your cars are polished.

Then that is a safety hazard. Perhaps you should clean the windows yourself.

Looks like Sweetwater's full service is at $27.00 - $52.00.

Went to the Atlantis car wash and will never go back. Their machine scratched the hell out of my one year old Highlander.

Do you know if The Villages Carwash is golf cart accessible for detailing golf carts?

Yes, it's golf cart accessible, it's on the map in the parking of the Belks shopping center at SS. The Sweetwater Car Wash under construction in Beaumont Properties off 466A will not be golf cart accessible.

I went to The Village Car Wash today and it was wonderful! I have been to the one by Lowe's and it is okay but a bird or two hit my car really bad yesterday and I needed a really good one. (The white splash was all over my car - so embarrassing). They got the job done - vacuumed my interior, washed the car, then clean the interior completely. WOW.

I agree. The car washes around and in TV all use brushes. Nothing like to the touchless systems in WNY at Delta Sonic. If they exist here, please let us know!

Back in WNY that amount of service would cost you at least $35 - $45. So, still sounds like a deal to us.
