has anyone used any other garage door repairman than Ryan Ocull ?? I have called and left Ryan messages yesterday and today with no response... I have used him a couple times in the past and he has always responded quickly.... thx. for any help

Cook Aluminum has a garage door division. It's the same company that handles Thumper's garage screen doors. I've used them for over 5 years and am happy with their work.

Father & Son 407-281-9248 Just put in an opener for me. VERY reasonable and he used to service TV.

Call ASAP at 352-390-0559. They are both professional and reasonable.

ASAP came to look at some bent struts, said he did a diagnostics, was here about fifteen minutes and charged me $150. Could not fix anything. Apparently, ASAP will not come out to give an estimate unless they get a service fee. They quoted about $300 more than ATF in Leesburg to replace the entire bottom panel.

be patient unless your door is closed and you cannot open, Ryan is excellent sometimes when you are the best you are klept busy but well worth the wait. Hoping his biz is surviving thru Covid..

Hopefully, you have pulled the cord with the red handle to see if the door will open manually. If so, it will only be an inconvenience until you can get it repaired.

Why do you say this?

It's tough but you can still open the garage door with springs broken; I did it for my neighbor (with his help); unlatch drive chain and then use at least 2 people to lift door up....

Ryan is working hard six days a week, he takes calls in the order that they come. When we work Sundays in case of emergencies.

Ryan wanted $800.00 to complete a job on the garage door.

Out of curiosity, I called Scott's Garage, also local, to get a second quote. Scott did the job for $375.00. I never mentioned to Scott that he was bidding against another contractor. All of the calls I made to Scott, as I was out of town when the job was completed, where either answered by him at the time or promptly returned that same day.
I was fully satisfied with the work.

Yes, he is great. He is just busy because he is so good.

Have used Ryan O'Cull several times and he is always reasonable on the charge. The last time he was here I asked how busy he is and he said that he always get 15 or more calls a day and often work until 7:00 at night. He did not mention whether or not he worked weekends. He never charged me more than $50 but he didn't need to replace any parts either.

Discount garage doors are the best. I e used them for years

I've used RoMac a couple of times for maintenance and repair on my other home (over 17 years there) and they always responded quickly and at a reasonable price. I'm sure there are other good service companies but I'm happy with RoMac.

Just had D&D install a new opener through Home Depot. Took about 75 minutes. Jason did a great job

I looked up that number you have and it looks like an old number he once had. Just didn't replace the "sticky note" old number with his new number. Try that number I gave you.

He was at my house last Friday, and I used the 0522 number. Came in less than a half hour.

I and a few of my friends have used ASAP from Ocala.

My garage door self destruct the other day. I called DGD and they sent a guy over a couple of days later as my car was outside and it wasn't an emergency. The repairman, Raymond was very professional, polite and just an all around nice guy. He went over my options, not pushy at all. I went for the heavy duty upgrade that comes with a 30 year warranty. Don't have to worry about that door anymore. It has never been that quiet. I recommend Discount Garage Door. They even have a military discount.

Discount Garage Door had me wait in my house from 2 to 5 today only to have no one show up. I called at 5 and was told they weren't going to be here today but they can make it between 10 and 1 tomorrow. They really expect me to sit and wait for them again? Maybe if I had a courtesy call instead of me having to call them I would consider it but....no thanks. Similar thing happened last Tuesday with Ro Mac. So is there anyone that will show up when they say?

Just used Ryan O'Cull today. I called him and he called me back in about 20 minutes. He was at my house in another 20 minutes doing the repair. Mr. Efficient he is. His cell number is 352-2075668.

Called me back in less than 20 minutes.....was at the house in less than an hour.
Replaced the main switch on each opener.....very reasonable.

Same experience last year when spring broke!!
