Copper Infused Mattress/Market at Marion

Anyone have experience w/this type of mattress OR the mattress store at Market of Marion? Looking to purchase in a bout a week or so. Thanks!

Pretty soon we'll have "copper infused burgers." Yet another scam to get money from gullible people. Should be grouped with weight loss pills and pills to make your, ummm, organ, 18" longer and 8" thicker. May as well gnaw on copper pipes.

Copper Compression Sleeves and Pain Relief - Consumer Reports

From above linked article:
The only hitch? There’s little to no reliable scientific evidence that the copper/compression combo does what manufacturers are claiming. Which is why Tommie Copper and its founder Thomas Kallish agreed to pay $1.35 million to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that they deceptively advertised their copper-infused garments that are priced between $29.50 and $69.50. The proposed federal court order imposes an $86.8 million judgment, which will be partially suspended upon payment of $1.35 million by the defendants.

Did they stop selling mattresses with magnets?

I agree, but why single out and prosecute Tommie Copper? There are so many bogus health claims and products on the market that the FTC could pay off the National debt if they fined all of them.

Are you implying the GREEN TEA infused mattress I bought from Amazon was joke? LOL

I like my Sleep Number.

Koapaka 03-14-2021 09:47 PM

HIGHLY recommend you try out both temperpedic (if you both like the same firmness) and the sleep number bed if you are of different desires on firmness of your mattress. If it is a shared bed, and either one of you have specific issues (leg swelling, back problems or GERD/breathing issues) that would require mattress adjustment without disturbing your partners sleep position, get the split type so both can have as required for the best nights sleep.

Temperpedic was superseded years ago, I’m afraid. It’s not what it once was. In a recent study in Consumer Reports, the highest-rated Temperpedic got a score of only 67 out of 100. The top-rated, Avocado Green, scored 85. The second, Casper Original, scored 81. (I have a Casper and found it too hard. I added two inches of soft memory foam to the top and improved it a lot.). Actually, though, I’ve bought a couple memory foam mattresses at Sam’s Club for a couple hundred dollars each and had guests rave about how comfortable they are. They come compressed in a sealed plastic bag in a relatively small box. When you remove the bag, the mattress grows. Fun to watch. And the price is right.

After trying many mattresses I find the best thing is to get a firm mattress but put a good memory foam topper on it for a comfortable sleep.

We love our bed from Relax in Comfort in LSL. Sure it’s more expensive, but it suits all my husband’s constantly changing back issues and will last the rest of our lives. Components can be replaced if needed.

My mattress was stuffed with singles but over the years the strip clubs made my mattress thinner..

Do the singles make the mattress more firm?

Asking for a friend

That's simply a Sleep Number bed sold for almost twice the Sleep Number price. We had a S.N. and can't figure out how they get away with those prices. When we first moved in here we stopped by their store and got the whole B.S. song and dance that "it's really not the same" but they never would say it wasn't when we told them we used to have a S.N. The sales lady there was like a used car salesman. Not saying their mattress is good or bad just an obvious private labeled manufactured for them Sleep Number right down to all the options.

You probably don't hear about 90% of the others. TC are the ones who do 99% of the "copper" advertising on TV and have the deepest pockets and a big target. Kind of like the "My Pillow" which is simply a bag full of broken up pieces of foam who also got busted for fake advertising back in 2016 MyPillow Gets a $1 Million Wake-Up Call | Truth In Advertising

B.S. large scale advertising and deep pockets. There are lots more you just don't notice or get publicized.
