Beater Golf Putters for Games
 

Hi all. My husband and I do not golf. But we'd like suggestions on where/how we might obtain a few used/old/beater putters to use to play Golf Pool and Golf Bocce. Cheap of course. . .free is best. :icon_wink:

Home Depot sells 2 x 8's which you can cut to size.
Four pieces of wood will get you a putter, wedge, all irons and four woods.
As cheap as you are going to get.

There are two or more golf club vendors at the markets of marion.

Both have a TON of used clubs of all types and prices.

Very reasonable for what you are looking for.

Try the many thrift stores. They all have them.

Go to the flea market in Marion. They have thousands of used clubs.

They can be easily lifted from almost every garage. They will be in a tall container with old umbrellas near the opening.

:shrug: I don't know. But on another note..... do you think maybe a thrift store, garage/yard sale, or the Market of Marion would be a good place to look? :duck:

There's a guy at the corner of Arbor Trail and Vandam in Village of Sunset pointe that has golf "yard sales" constantly. He might have something.

Play it Again Sports is a store in Gainesville, Fl. Probably have one in Ocala as well, and perhaps even closer...or maybe some of the pro shops here in The Villages have some used ones.

St Theresa's thrift shop has lots of golf clubs, $1 a club. They are on 301 in Bellevue. St Vincent's store on 301 in Wildwood has nicer clubs, but the price is steeper at $2.
