second for underglass in fruitland park. great job

Make sure it is not too dark, I have seen many cars with the tinting so dark you cannot see the driver in the car in broad daylight. I cannot see if they are looking at me or signaling me.

Good idea to make certain the installer of window tint is very familiar with the Florida Statutes on Window glass and tinting. Here is a general web page about it. floridacarlaws.com/window-tint/

Also the web page for the Florida TITLE XXIII, MOTOR VEHICLES, CHAPTER 316, STATE UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL. leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0300-0399/0316/0316ContentsIndex.html
The portion pertaining to window glass and tinting begins at 316.2951. Not a great read but that's the real info.

Under glass!

Sambo's in Wildwood. He'll also tell you how dark you can go on the various windows in your vehicle, different laws for cars, suvs, vans, trucks, etc. I wanted limo tint in my SUV which I had in my passenger van but he said it could not be used on a SUV.

We have used the Cadillac Dealer in Leesburg for three cars. Great price and quality. Checked with four other installers, they all pushed a darker illegal tint and were more expensive.

Auto Tint

I just had my Prius tinted at All-Stars in Leesburg on 44 and they did a great job! I wanted to eliminate as much heat as possible, so I chose the ceramic film and it totally did the job.

I’ve seen a lot of vehicles with really dark tinting, that must not be factory tinting. What happens at night, when you’re in an area that’s poorly lit? What happens when you drive your vehicle that’s registered in Florida to another state, that doesn’t allow tinting greater than the factory level? Do you get pulled over by the police and ticketed, when driving out of Florida?

I just wear extra dark sunglasses. :)

Underglass - They will even install a 3M film that's bullet proof!

My husband just had tinting put on his new car while we were in Florida. Awesome job. It was a company on the east coast. It looks great and keeps the inside of the car cooler. They have a limited guarantee. Sorry I can't recommend a place around TV.

A related point - friends of our bought a Toyota with dealer tinted windows. They have no issues in Florida but have been pulled over several time while driving through Georgia.

Yes you do and ticketed. We had a family member who lived in Florida with 'Florida' tinting drive through southern Georgia pulled over and ticketed because it was too dark for Georgia's stricter limits on tinting. Didn't matter that it was legal in her state, that she had documentation saying it was legal there, did not matter. Take care!
