Alligator. They are fast, and powerful. With a brain about the size of a pea. It does not need much of a brain as it has only two thoughts eat and reproduce.

I recall reading the only reason why man survived is that he does not taste good. However, with a good sauce-hey you can make anything taste good.

Reminds me of a few men I met down at the Twist and Shout.

I prefer my gators to visit in the daylight when I can see them. Snakes too. We had a gator show up one afternoon in our driveway when we lived in Orlando. It was a small 4 footer so our fireman next door Florida native picked him up by the tail and snout and threw him into the woods behind us. Yikes!!

I recall reading the only reason why man survived is that he does not taste good. However, with a good sauce-hey you can make anything taste good.

I worked security and was called to several alligators who wandered into garages where the owners had left the door open. With this 4 footer, the owner only had a crutch so I proceeded to move him along. He was about outside when he spun around, grabbed the top cushion from the crutch and tossed it in the driveway. I was 4 feet away, looking at it and never saw him do it!! They are indeed fast and powerful.

2 thoughts, eat and reproduce? That was my philosophy as a teenager. I wonder how many cats and dogs that gator has eaten to get that big.

I prefer to see none over 4 ft long. That should be the goal of Florida Wildlife Management. I wonder if a person could legally shoot one over 4 feet long with a bow if it were on their property. It can certainly be thought of as representing a danger to human life and limb.
