Halloween?

Where I am right now there's lots of families and Halloween decorations, which I like to see. Does anyone decorate for this in TV, or does the lack of kids deter you? Or maybe you just buy a bunch of candies and feed yourself?!

There are some good displays. In my neighborhood (VT)we have a home with articulating skeleton figures.
Everyday they tell a new story. This morning it was 56 deg here, they had coats and a blanket over the dog (skeleton). They do chores, paint, gutter cleaning, and the drinking wine. Very cool.

given that there is no real trick or treating due to the lack of kids here, I think that decorating houses is far more rare than in a standard neighborhood. I sold all of my fairly elaborate decorations before we arrived here

Love the creativity.

I have my costume all picked out. I'm going as the old guy that I see in the mirror.

No need to decorate for Halloween, just make a trip down to the squares any night of the year.

The display on Nuthatch in the Village of Dunedin is amazing! It draws visitors from far and wide with music, eerie noises, and some creepy figures covering the whole yard. It is very professionally done.
Best of all, there is a donation box for Toys for Tots. Last year he collected hundreds of toys and over $1000. He just loves to make people happy!!

Guy down the street has a skeleton leaning up against his lamp post.

Plenty of people in the historic district decorate for Halloween.

There's a house on Schwartz that goes all out and one on Dustin opposite the corner of Truman that does likewise.

Check out Oracle off Hillsboro Trail and bring a Toys for Tots gift - awesome. Would like to know the address for the skeleton display

Bjeanj 10-20-2021 01:54 PM

Not sure if you're referring to the skeleton picture I originally posted on this thread, but if so, it's in Canada!

If you're able to take pictures of the displays I'd love to see them!
