What is your favorite scary movie in honor of Halloween?

I would pick The Sixth Sense as my favorite scary movie.

For the older movies 1933s The Invisible Man The Invisible Man (1933 film - Wikipedia)

And for the newer Get Out.

Top 100 Horror Movies - Rotten Tomatoes

Not sure I would put Us anywhere near the top of the best horror movies of all time.

I can't believe that "Hostel" is not in the top 100.

Also, "Funny Games", but that may not be considered a horror movie. They may call it a psychological thriller, but it was scary.

Hostel was definitely scary but in more of a ruthless way.

For pure Halloween horror, nothing beats the "The Evil Dead." Two was ok, the rest are garbage.

As a young kid, The Wizard of Oz scared me ****less.:ohdear:

That wicked witch was sitting at the end of my bed for nights!

Traditional choices.

As I prefer my horror more traditional and fun/scary rather than heart attack terrifying my choices include Dracula (Bela Lugosi), Frankenstein (Boris Karloff), Werewolf of London (Henry Hull), The Wolf Man (Lon Chaney Jr.) and, of course, KING KONG (Fay Wray).
There are many others that I like as well, many of which were not well known, like Horror Express for example, or House of wax.
What ever you like, have a fun and frightening Halloween.

BOO!

The Shining and Salem's Lot are both pretty scary but not on the top 100 list.

Scary Movies

Sixth Sense and the original Halloween. Older movie that scared me as a child was Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.

I taped 1997's The Relic and then watched it last night and this morning which was just OK. Much better book. Relic (novel - Wikipedia)

If all of Ayn Rand's collective works were read & discussed by students, we may have a very different perspective on exactly what has gone wrong with our current society. RIP John Galt.

I do not find her work worthy of much consideration. Ayn Rand - Wikipedia

She did seem to be a fan of movies, though.
