Sorry, but Brussels sprouts or lima beans. And I'm not too fond of candied yams either. And, bring on the bread stuffing and not cornbread stuffing.

Macaroni and cheese but the children love it.

Cranberry sauce

Love cranberry sauce but the rest of the list will never be own our table.

Goose, Corn dogs, moon pies, sweet potatoes, grits and warm milk straight from the Llama.

A Southern friend of mine once told me that in the South mac and cheese is considered to be a vegetable!

I love liver and onions, especially chicken livers. Not too fond of candied yams but will eat them if eating at a friends house.

This cracks me up. My daughter made green bean casserole yesterday. Did I eat it? Yes!
A friend brought cranberry sauce. Did I eat it? NO!

I like canned yams syrup on my dressing. And turkey. Keep syrup and throw a way yams.:)

Sweet potatoes or yams with added syrup. They are sweet enough as is. Same for carrots with syrup.

Well, you must be different than most of us, which is OK, because surveys show this casserole to be one of the top ten favorite dishes!!

You would love mine. Everyone raves about the deliciousness.

I seem to recall that the lady who invented it,worked for Campbells, passed a few years ago. Imagine her influence on the US and I expect the world.

Dunno about it being a veggie - but - when my co-workers who were born/bred in the South constructed a mac & cheese for whatever gathering we were prepping for they prepared the most delicious dish I have ever indulged in...and an expensive one, too! Minimum of 4 cheeses and heavy cream! Have never enjoyed one comparable!

I cannot figure out HOW the green bean casserole become a Thanksgiving staple; certainly not in my house.

I love home made dressing with oysters chopped up in it. In Virginia, my wife made it like this every year.

I learned to make due to pressure from potential in-laws (yea). The house smelled well very unappetizing. Didn’t marry into the family!!
