Wonderful shots! They all look well fed. What big sharp teeth they have! Shot #2 with the fish in the air is particularly remarkable.

Seriously great pictures. Saw one of these guys hunting one late night in our front garden. They are actually pretty good sized beasties.

Adorable!! Whereabouts did you see them? Was that off one of the trails. They must find places where there are less gators.

Thank you for posting these pics. I have never seen a river otter before so I am glad I looked at Talk of the Villages this morning!

Please ask your friend if he can find out what dentist they go to, their teeth are so white and healthy looking! 🙂

They are cute but, don't go near them. I've had interactions with them in a lake behind my house in South Florida..

I had them come at me.

I've seen them go after dogs. I know they have killed dogs.

When I was a kid, there was a pub in Epping Forest UK that had a large water tank outside.
It had chain into the water and a large sign over it saying "DO NOT DISTURB THE WATER OTTER"
Of course human nature being what it was, most had to pull the chain to see what was on the end.
It was a kettle.
They also had the foulest mouth parrot in the world.
I loved the place!
