Theme Park Club?????????

I know about the Mickey Fanatics and the Goofy Villagers (we are on the waiting list for both), but does anyone know of a club that visits the other parks that surrounds TV. I'm sure there are Villagers just as interested in going to Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal and the smaller attractions in the area as there are people wanting to go to Disney, but I can't find anyone mentioning them. If any of you know of such a club, please respond on this post.

Why would you need a club to visit attractions. I personally hate the tribe mentality

Different strokes for different folks. If you enjoy doing things alone, then you don't need a club.

Personally, I enjoy sharing the experience with others. Obviously, there are others in TV that feel the same way, else the Mickey Fanatics, the shooting clubs, the kayaking club, and all of the other clubs would have never been formed.

Enjoying the company of others when doing fun things hardly qualifies for your degrading label.

OP if no one gives you a shout out about the club you are looking for, start one. That’s how goofy villagers and Mickey fanatics started.

We're only at TV 6 or 7 months out of the year and if I started the club, I would feel obligated to be there full time.

If no one knows of an existing club, we'll visit the parks by ourselves and hope to get into the Fanatics or Goofy for our Disney fix.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Then what are you doing in TV ??

triflex 12-30-2021 09:39 PM

We just signed up for Universal Annual Pass this week.

Albeit, I got rid of the Disney Pass after their anti-white screed they put out over the Summer/Fall. Dumped every bit of Disney product/merch in the trash.

I'd only been to Universal once years ago and just to one side. Enjoying it so far til they do something stupid. They also have a new park opening over the next couple of years. Perfect timing IMO.

Careful Dan, they don’t like independent thinkers on this forum.

Have seaworld / bush gardens annual gold pass- wife and son have bronze pass….free parking and discounts on food and merch….break even is 3 visits….we go once a month….holiday shows and fireworks are as good as Disney - the orca show is both amazing and sad however….

I recognized the symbol, my favorite band in my youth. Saw them in NY on Long Island two years ago - great!

I love Universal! I would love to get a club started if someone is interested in helping me

If you post your planned trip a few weeks in advance I bet you could get a small group together. We would certainly consider joining you but not for another 3 months until Omicron has burned out.

We return in 3 months (reverse snowbirds) and would be willing to help set up a club.

We're also reverse snowbirds (returning in April) and would love to get a club started. If we could find a full time resident to head it up, I'd be happy to do whatever I could while we are there.

Have you rode the new Velocicoaster yet? My wife and kids say it is the best coaster they have ever rode. Thrill rides tend to make me nauseous, so I usually limit myself to one per park visit. I saved that for Hagrid when we were there in November.

Just post you want company on one of your groups and they will come!

Gator_Girl 01-01-2022 06:52 PM

There's a waiting list?!😳

There are waiting lists to join the Mickey Fanatics and the Goofy Villagers. I don't know if the limit of people that can join is set by the individual club or if the village rules limits the number of people a club can have.

triflex 01-01-2022 08:59 PM

I rode it this week. It was intense. Super fast and non-stop fast. You spend a lot of time upside down with no shoulder restraints.

It’s the club who decides on number of members. However the meeting rooms have a person limit, and both clubs are first come, unless there is a special event then you have online sign up.

During off season, meetings are close to capacity. High season, people stand in line up to an hour early, and those who come later don’t get in.
