We stay up until midnight every year.

Problem is, midnight just keeps coming earlier and earlier.

You must be visiting your parents.

bilcon 12-31-2021 01:39 PM

Just stay off the roads. They are bad enough on normal nights. Happy New Year!

Stu from NYC 12-31-2021 01:44 PM

Will people actually be on the roads past midnight?

Every night there are cars and carts on the roads after midnight last is usually about 3am. So NYE is just another day for some

I guess they missed your joke in the OP! For those that did: 12 Midnight GMT is 7PM local time! :1rotfl:

JMintzer 12-31-2021 09:36 PM

I heard KISS is remaking their song...

"I... Used to rock and roll all night, but now I can't stay up late!"

manaboutown 01-01-2022 12:06 AM

Happy Amateur Night at 6 minutes past.

asianthree 01-01-2022 03:36 AM

It’s 3:30am, and the party is just winding down. Breakfast food getting started, with Kona and Blue Mountain Coffee. Then wait for the sun to rise on the first day of New Year. Simple plans, make years of tradition.

DaleDivine 01-01-2022 05:59 AM

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
:boom::boom:

Petersweeney 01-01-2022 06:05 AM

That my friend was much appreciated and quite creative. If I knew how to post an emoji here you would get the best.

Really, “GMT”.
🤣

I can imagine that wave action was helpful. Very rhythmic! Eventually helps you sleep.

Remembering Janis Joplin's sage advice.

It’s a tradition with over 20 friends, every year since 2000. Someone forgot the juice this year so little disappointing. But the sunrise was beautiful, then at 7:32am everyone went home. I will sleep tonight to play catch-up

tranceminder 01-01-2022 05:06 PM

I didn't lose mine. It was taken. I still remember all 30 seconds

Just for the sake of accuracy, not that it matters, GMT right now is actually 5 HRS later than the east coast. Don't want anyone thinking it is still yesterday in London when it's actually tomorrow or they might miss their flight (if it isn't canceled). :) My kids are waiting to get back from the UK tomorrow (or later today if you are them). It's all relative!
