Covid Testing
The Express.org covid testing site by the Hampton Inn on 466 is not currently taking online appointments. Anyone know of a nearby site that will take online appointments?
|
It has been a month since I had my PCR test, but I had it done at the CVS on CR466 by the high school.

Walgreens and CVS do

About 3 weeks ago SAMS had carton after carton stacked up on a shelf with BinaxNow tests for $17 a box. Hasn't been one available to buy since just before Christmas. |

Buy tests on Amazon, 18 bucks for 2

Just beware that the Covid testing site on 466 by Hampton Inn is not free like CVS and Walgreens.
If you use the site on 466 they will charge you $100, $50 if you have Medicare. |
Why were over 800,000 + COVID testing kits not distributed and left in storage to expire?

Do people test to see if they are positive or confirm they are negative?
And......what do the test results do for their tomorrow? Rhetorical questions all! |

Maybe because the PCR test were recalled in July of 2021--FALSE POSITIVES.The test are fake

Was it at the time when covid tests were so plentiful that you couldn't walk down the street without tripping over one (and people WEREN'T waiting in lines for tests), or later, when they were scarce and there WERE lines? Context matters... |

How ill do you feel (or not) today? |
Buy a covid test
You can buy one at Freedom Plaza drug store. I bought one today for 30.00. I was positive...
|
If you test positive, you need to wear a mask and quarantine for 5-10 days, depending on if you show symptoms or not. It's not that difficult, just common sense. It's not a lot different than not going around others when you are sick with a cold.

Just don't try to get one in Minnesota. The home test kits have been sold out for quite some time, and the result is that the ERs and Urgent Cares are jammed with people who are not sick but are just there to get a COVID test--many, probably multiple times, or anytime they wake up with a scratchy throat or stuffed nose. It is so bad that truly sick people aren't being able to be served and have to be turned away. Media up there is imploring people NOT to go to those places for tests.
Isn't it grand, what panic will do to people? |

They received a 90 day waiver of the expiration date. Again, lack of demand caused them to stay where they were. Just someone trying to revive a dead campaign. Nothing nefarious. |
