For those off campus and for those who say I have rose colored glasses,

This mornings paper reported that there was a burglary on Cedar Ridge Place in Liberty Park. (south of 466).

The owners were out of town since Oct.11 and when they returned they found that someone pried open the front door and stole $5000 worth of jewelry from the master bedroom.

Watch WESH 2 news or go to their website - man steals golf cart from Nancy Lopez area, then robs a shed behind Beef o'Brady's and also the new VA medical center.

I think there is a Beef O Brady's in Colony Plaza on 466A. That is a long drive up to the VA.

Is there another Beef O'Brady's?

There's one in Mulberry Grove too. Also Southern Trace - and maybe some others around.

There is a Beef O'Brady's in Mulberry Plaza , a quick golf cart ride from the New VA Center, w/it's grand opening
, Sat. I unnerstand all the shops-Subway, Publix, Bell's Outlet, etc will have sidewalk welcome sales and treats.

How about this, the evil doer is a business owner within the traffic pattern of a Village golf cart. Because of the economy he has a cash flow problem at his place of business. He needed cleaning supplies to clean his restaurant and fresh oil for his deep fryer. He also stole a ladder. The evil doer is too short to wash the highest point of his restaurant windows. The golf cart will be sold on Craigslist. He lives or works within walking distance of where the golf cart was taken. The crime was premeditated, he had a shopping list and knew exactly where to get what he needed.:police:

Or.. he is lazy and didnt want to walk from burglary to burglary carrying stolen property, so he steals a golf cart, goes to some sheds he had scoped out and breaks in, takes what has some value, including a ladder because he is only a "shadow" of what he used to be.

One thing you can be sure of.....he's up to no good. Isn't that the kind of stuff they always find when they raid the places where they are making meth? At least that's what it looks like in the tv reports and the pictures they show. Looks like just the "ingredients" alone would kill; never mind what it does when it's "cooked". Egads!barf

I have to say that a meth lab is the first thing that I thought of when I read the story...but the cooking oil threw me.
