 No..... but I could tell you some of the names I call people that have them. :a040: It is usually "inconsiderate" but I have others too.

I have had several bluetooth speakers for my golf cart. The one I am using now is the best one I have had. It has a very strong magnet that I attach to the metal roof support bracket right behind my head so it is easy to hear. Link below. Also available on Amazon with free returns and great reviews.

OP, if you go to any of the several golf cart accessory websites you will get ideas for radios, basically tray mounted and dash mounted. I would go with tray mounted, as you can get the speakers built in, then all you need is the power supply connection and the physical mounting. Dash units can interfere with cup holders and other equipment currently mounted in this area.
However, as noted above, the easiest way to do this is the bluetooth speakers.

Well IMO radio not as bad as the illegal off road LED lights in front of cart, by Florida law any off road light are supposed to be covers when NOT off road. But, being there practically non existent law enforcement in villages roadways what you get. IMO MMP is off road, but once hit street or diamond lane busted.

I have a G-ROK also, and it is a good option. Not stereo, but who cares? Plus, being portable, it goes with me into the garage for tinker time, and out on the lanai for siesta time. My wife has a Bushnell Wingman for her cart. It is a great speaker. Strong magnet, portable, and is also a golf GPS.

If you have a smart phone you can down load your own music and play it in your golf cart with a couple blue tooth speakers, a lot cheaper then installing a radio.:welcome:

I see no problem with a radio or speakers in the golf cart, as long as they're not used on the golf course. Great for cruising around though.

What's wrong with a radio on the golf course?

If it's good enough for Rodney...

Soooo, when you're on an MMP, isn't that off road??? I have bright ones on my cart that light up the MMP in front of me. And I have them angled down. Headlights on the golf cart don't do that good of a job illuminating the path...

My son refurbishes golf carts so he can put in a radio. Private message me.

And maybe some earbuds so we all don't have to listen to your taste in music.....just saying

Get a Wingman from Bushnell. It has magnet that holds to supports of the cart canopy. Links via bluetooth to phone, and gives distances to green. Cool unit that does both.
No installation needed.

There are many that have them angled so they can see the hairs on a racoons butt half mile away but not the path. They also almost hit you because it's evident they still can't see the path that well!:)

The one accessory we did not get on our golf cart were speakers. I think people who want to listen to music should take their car, it has windows they can roll up. It is not nice to force people to listen to your choice of music when probably no one else likes it. Like gas fumes, it is pollution.

Good grief. So someone driving past you with music playing really ruins your whole day?

I like to hear
the sound of the birds, the sound of the wind, the sound of happy people talking. Yes, I don’t want to hear someone’s lousy choice of music.

Confession: What I used to do in an apartment condo in Hawaii when people went out on their lanai and insisted on being really loud not caring for the next door lanai trying to enjoy the sunset. I’d listen to their conversation or their music then bring out my Bose high watt set onto my lanai and select something I knew they would hate. It usually took 2 songs, have you heard “Baby Shark” on a loop for example? It is used in Honolulu to move homeless people from where they should not be. Children love the song, adults hate it. Then we’d be back to quiet again.

I agree. Using your iPhone can have the same effect if played too loudly.

Just keep the volume at a reasonable level and everyone (well, obviously not "everyone") will be happy...

Quick story... I was playing golf with my future son in law back in February. An older gentleman pulled up behind us as we were waiting to tee off. I invited hime to join us, He declined, sayin he liked to take extra shots (we were the last groups of the day) and he asked if his music bothered us, that he would turn it down if it did...

I replied, "Absolutely not! Who doesn't like Pure Prairie League"? As "Amie" was playing... We then got into a conversation about the band, Vince Gill, Linda Rondstadt, The Eagles... He offered us a drink from his "cart bar" and I learned about the wonders of "Burnt Peach Moonshine"... All because of a song... Helluva nice guy!

So, I guess you didn’t comprehend where I SAID MMP IMO would be considered OFF road.

They still blind people in front of you. But, it about you right.

I put this in my cart a year ago, on shelf overhead and picked up 12v from the lights in center of my roof. Also put a tape antenna on the back of shelf and now get radio stations, switch input the stream from my phone, or copy my favorite songs onto SD card and insert it to the radio. It also has inputs and outputs for CD player and external speakers. Not bad for 30 bucks on Amazon. Polarlander Universal 1 din 12 volt radio...... has mixed reviews but mine is clear and easy to use and has worked for at least 4000 miles in golf cart since I put it in.
