Tom Brady returns as Bucs Quarterback.

Tom Brady says he's returning as Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB next season

Well this is not April 1, 2022 so it is happening.

Two Bills 03-14-2022 04:31 AM

He will probably have more farewell appearances than Sinatra!

Wow! That is earth-shattering. Still milking that cow.

Stu from NYC 03-14-2022 07:31 AM

Surprising wonder how much he will get paid. Should affect how they put their team together rather drastically

Brady has consistently re-worked his contract to allow the team to sign other players...

True but I do believe the team has told some expensive players to go elsewhere so wonder how this will shake out. He is a great quarterback but does need to stay upright.

tophcfa 03-14-2022 10:20 AM

I thought Brady had more class than to pull a Brett Favre, I was wrong.

JohnN 03-14-2022 10:49 AM

He does have the right to change his mind. Apparently retirement is not all that it is held up to be.

I would hate to be the person that paid $500,000 for the football

davem4616 03-14-2022 12:13 PM

TB12 is always fun to watch...and he seems to be able to lift everyone's play on the team

I'm looking forward to football season and watching the GOAT

45 and still a first string QB in the NFL??? wow

Michael G. 03-14-2022 12:16 PM

I do wish him luck and to stay healthy while 250 lb. line men after your head.

My team is about to sign Aaron Rodgers to a $50 million contract.
One injury to either Brady or Rodgers and schools out.

Velvet 03-14-2022 01:04 PM

Yes! He won my first Super Bowl bet 2 years ago, maybe he can do it again.

alwann 03-14-2022 01:54 PM

Bet he got a commitment from quite a few guys before agreeing to come back

asianthree 03-14-2022 06:45 PM

Or did he come back, so a trade could be made?

Here is his last years stats:

Final season: 2021
Notable numbers: 5,316 yards, 43 TDs, 12 INTs, 102.1 rating

A year after winning his seventh Super Bowl and contending for MVP, the 44-year-old Brady set career highs in passes (719) while leading the NFL in yards and TDs, coming within 200 yards of breaking the single-season record for yardage. He led Tampa Bay to a 13-4 finish and his record 35th all-time playoff win.

Are you implying he should retire because he is too old? This legend is breaking age barriers that no one thought was possible in the NFL. He is an inspiration and I hope he keeps playing and breaking records until he is 50.

Class…….really
How soon we forgot he was caught cheating…..not my definition of class.
Had he gave the title back for that season….that would’ve been class……..but no

Tom Brady

Rising gasoline prices have forced the poor guy to return to football.

mrf0151 03-15-2022 06:25 AM

Must be the price of gas causing Brady to return to work. All you Brady fans can thank Joe. :a040:

me4vt 03-15-2022 06:49 AM

Not a Man to be Trusted!!! He can’t and isn’t keeping his word, “ I’m retiring “ Besides the NFL hasn’t deserved my time for many years!!

He didn't qualify for the mortgage for his new home in the Village of St. John. Needed more cash.

didn't we all love it when the villainous young george foreman came back in his 40s and 50s to win boxing championships vs younger and fitter champions
and in the process transformed his q rating and likeability numbers off the charts?
With brady it's much the same. I love that a football aged senior citizen is wiping the floor up of professional future hall of famers young enough to be his children. Is he not the ultimate underdog representing us all in tv.
And in senior communities all over the usa?

that whole ball deflation thing is 'fly sh_t in pepper country' when you look at what he's accomplished during his career

He's the GOAT

Admit it...if he'd played for your team you'd be singing a different tune

44 and still at the top of his game....not many achieve that

SHIBUMI 03-15-2022 09:35 AM

Brady

Why do all great athletes have a problem with retiring healthy! They are just not too bright!!!! Brady is destined now for injury. The younger lineman are twice as big and twice as fast and Brady is a sitting target. They will have no respect for him, they have given him enough and he wouldn't go away, his fault. I predict he will not finish the season due to injury, a self inflicted consequence of stupid. Not too bright Tom. Go see a
shrink and come to your senses, I thought it was about your family but as usual its all about you. Sorry to see these great athletes self destruct,.........too bad... hopefully Cinderella Brady will let everyone sign his cast when they put it on...there is still time Tom to become a human being........why does that scare you.........sad, very sad....
