Hmm she had a brick and a knife. Perhaps she was trying to start a game of rock, paper scissors and got confused?

1:30 PM? Not too early in the day for some. I wonder if there was a relationship between the lady's first name and the catalyst for her antics.

retiredguy123 04-05-2022 07:40 AM

Reporters write a lot of stories about people being arrested. But, rarely do you read the rest of the story. What was their ultimate punishment?

MrFlorida 04-05-2022 08:06 AM

Crazy people are everywhere.

Or, just making a silly joke (which WAS funny, btw...)

PugMom 04-05-2022 10:36 AM

all i can say is i'm glad no one got hurt. you never know what's going on in the tainted minds of others, & it's probably drug-related (meth) in most cases. the poor cops now have to police the area, acting as law enforcement, social workers, psych majors & baby-sitters :ohdear:

She was tased, cuffed, and stuffed into the patrol car. Then it was off to jail. I'm not making this up, it was on the 6 p.m. news, which showed the actual takedown.

But there’s nothing funny about the facts of this story, where a woman strung out on meth enters a Walmart and threatens shoppers with a brick, then a knife. Sad situation but glad she was subdued and taken away before anyone got hurt.

kcrazorbackfan 04-06-2022 05:26 AM

When you get tasered, as she was, it’s known also as “riding the lightning”.

We had to have it done to us in our training to carry a taser. It is not fun…..

B-flat 04-06-2022 06:27 AM

At least she had her mask on so she won't catch any disease. Talk about the decline of civilization, sad in the big picture.

BlackHarley 04-06-2022 06:37 AM

I understand the knife, but since when did Wally Mart start selling bricks? Or maybe it was a byob felony?

This adds more ammunition for the "let's make drugs legal" movement.

She brought the brick in with her , picked up the knife inside the store.

OhioBuckeye 04-06-2022 07:48 AM

Well at least no one got killed! Sounds like this lady had some mental issues.

Petersweeney 04-06-2022 07:59 AM

Maybe she was just trying to make a sandwich-

NoMoSno 04-06-2022 08:26 AM

She made it on You Tube

zendog3 04-06-2022 08:27 AM

Drugs don't kill people, bricks do.

karostay 04-06-2022 08:47 AM

And showed up in court with a slap on the hand and set free.

Babubhat 04-06-2022 10:40 AM

Not so fast, was in Marion county, sometimes makes difference.

OhioBuckeye 04-07-2022 09:58 AM

Yea, wonder if they’ll ban bricks now? They say people kill with guns, wonder how bricks kill people, gotta think about this one!
