On our house (2013 Gardenia) the door bell transformer is on the same circuit as the attic light, so turn on the attic light, and start turning off circuit breakers one at a time until the attic light goes out, then try the door bell to confirm.
On a side note not sure why you need to turn this off, the voltage to the door bell and the switch is less than 24 vac, and typically around 18 vac which is very easy to work with and if you accidently short the door bell switch wires all that happens is the door bell rings. |

But, if you are just replacing the doorbell, it is not necessary to shut off the breaker because the doorbell is low voltage and powered by a transformer, that is probably located in the attic above the garage. I replaced my doorbell with a Ring device, and had no problem leaving the breaker on. The Villages Florida __________________ Most things I worry about Never happen anyway... -Tom Petty |

And it's a shame, because some of those are absolutely brilliant, if I do say so myself... :1rotfl: |

I do see photos posted by others. |

retiredguy123, I just posted two images. The first is a gif (which is animated), the 2nd one (Morgan Freeman) is a jpeg. Can you see either of them? As to the other pics showing up, some folks (like alemorkam) upload their pics onto the ToTV website. They show up differently than when using the picture link (that looks like the sun over a mountain)... |

Since changing to the new version, I can now see them all. Are you using old version? |

I am not a fan of the new version, but I got fed up with switching between the two to see pics. Getting used to new version now. |

I am with you on that, and would still prefer old format. But I could never see 'Picture perfect' posts, and most of the gifs etc. so changed. Getting used to new version now, and finding it not so 'clunky' after all. |

Pretty sure that's the problem... |

I was happy to find out that you can still switch back and forth between the old and new versions. TOTV had threatened to make the new version mandatory.

Doorbell Breaker
It is on the attic circuit since transformer that powers it is just above attic access panel in garage

I am still waiting for an answer from the original poster if they were able to find the correct circuit breaker.
