Another season has come to a close

We just got home from our last trip down until November at the earliest and possibly not until 2023. We had a great trip in the Villages. Prepared the yard and house for us being away. Did not buy any food since it was the end so we were able to eat at The Back Porch twice which was awesome, ate at our favorite club twice for lunch (Glenview), Takeout from Red Sauce and Sonny’s and a surprisingly good dinner at Cody’s Brownwood. We will miss it for sure but lots to do with camping and boating season arriving. Until the next time…

The world according to RVJim, all posts must have meaning just for him, he is that important to The Villages that every post has to be agreeable to him.

My point is I headed back north but got to enjoy some wonderful restaurants before I left, does it really need to be spelled out for you.

Enjoy, and will miss, all the options of TVs. Enjoy boating until next season!

Wow...people should really "check" themselves before they hit send...they have absolutely no idea how rude, grumpy and obnoxious they sound. Certainly not a good look for TOTV.

FenneyFanatic 05-03-2022 07:38 AM

Glad you had a great visit.. See you again soon!

We are right behind you. Michigan summers aren't much different than TV, but we enjoyed our 7 months here.:coolsmiley:

Enjoy your time up north, neighbor! Think of us frolicking down here in Soulliere in the summer heat!

DrHitch 05-04-2022 07:54 AM

I think the sentence in OP stating ".... Did you buy any food...."

was meant to state "....we did not buy any food for our house...."

And then he went on to talk about a good restaurant....we all need to read the intent of a posting, not the verbatim typing....

We’re right behind ya, another week in the bubble then back up north until the fall. A bunch of weddings this summer to attend (pandemic delayed and all happening this summer), the annual trips to the shore at various New a England states, some excellent outdoors concerts, and lots of swimming and fishing at the lake house are awaiting. Will miss the Villages, but it’s great to know there won’t be a cold snowy winter in our future: )
