Darn would have been a good spot for our new Costco

Bogie Shooter 06-05-2022 11:09 AM

Isn’t that where a new trailer park is going?

dewilson58 06-05-2022 12:32 PM

It's going to be the new Spanish Springs.

They are closing the current SS and moving it South were there are less entitled old people.

Where is the thumbs down button?

Luggage 06-06-2022 06:18 AM

Thank God they won't be a bank and a church and a thrift shop there. I'd be happy with a real pizzeria where I can buy a slice and not a whole pie

Where exactly on 301 is this? Do you mean Gio’s?

Is this confirmed or just more “rumors”?

If there was a demand for pizza by the slice it would be available in numerous places. Other than in NJ and it will be a reheated slice, have not seen it anyplace else.

Much better than the crappy hot dog I got at BJ’s last week.

mikeycereal 06-25-2022 04:51 PM

I have a Winn Dixie near me off 466A and Powell.

Looking forward to Culver's and Huey Magoo's newly opening in that area too. For those who haven't had Huey's (Lady Lake) it's really good chicken tenders better than Cane's. Never heard of them until I moved here.

Maybe one day, like others talk about... a Costco. Miss their pesto salmon trays.

Been buying slices at Bravo Italian Restaurant at LSL for years. I like reheated pizza better than fresh anyway. It's been "aged" on the counter under the sun lamps It's crispier and doesn't burn the roof of my mouth and the occassional fly landings give it some pizzaz.. :)

LOL. Sam's Club hot dogs are good but their rolls have gone through severe shrink-flation. They used to sit deep in the roll so you could put all the "stuff" on it, now they use rolls 1/2 the depth which makes it just about impossible to put anything on it without it ending up in your lap. I was teasing the lady behind the counter about it and she says she has had dozens of complaint. She said they used to use the large "sausage rolls" and now switched to regular hot dog rolls. :a20:
