Paul McCartney 80 years old

Paul turns 80 this coming Saturday, June 18. What an extraordinary life. Still touring at age 80 and doing very well.

The Beatlemaniacs of The Villages will be celebrating this event on Friday June 17 at 10:00 am.

Villagers and guest with guest IDs can come to the O'Dell Rec Center to join in person.

You can also go to FaceBook.com/DrWinstonOBoogieJr and watch the live stream.

"Hey Jude" was the first "Rock" song I ever liked. McCartney is just great.

Wow what an extraordinary life

And to think he was wondering if you would still send him birthday greetings when he’s 64!

Helter Skelter off the White Album paved the way for heavy metal music.

GOAT.

Johnny would be very proud of his old friend.

Great entertainer in his day, but at that age, not for me.
We seen Kenny Rogers perform at the Sharon after he had a knee replacement, we should of stayed home.
He looked like shlt and passed shortly after.

There is time to retire, even for Paul McCartney, and enjoy your senior years.
I'm sure he can afford it.

If people pay to see him and gives him a reason to get out of bed in the morning why not?

How is that possible?

Kind of think Cream, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zepplin were the Heavy Metal pioneers. Disraeli Gears and Are You Experienced, both from 1967 and Led Zepplin I from Jan 1969 are still hard rock today.

Sir Paul's Carpool Karaoke with James Corden is available on YouTube. It is a treat that will make you smile the whole time.

Grateful

The Beatles were the start of a musical and entertainment and thought stimulating revolution in my young impressionalbe years. They created Music with a message that could be understood by a growing population. Of the four, for me, it is Paul who has remained a constant idol. Imagine, being able to live your life whole life doing what you love to do. Congratulations to Paul McCartney on his 80th birthday.

The Beatlemaniacs are great fun and have an enthusiastic audience. Go hear them!

Paul is 80! I’ll bet he’d love to have 64 back. I remember when Sgt. Pepper came out. Being 64 seemed so unlikely to me. That was 51 years away!

I just saw him in Orlando a few weeks ago and he looked and sounded great. Paul can certainly afford to retire. He simply loves doing what he does and doesn't ever want to stop. He played for almost three hours without a break and had one drink of water.

Not only has he been a truly amazing artist, but he is physically amazing.

I have seen performers that should have hung it up and would agree with you on a lot of them. But Paul still has it.

Paul is the exception, just saw him Sunday at Camden Yards in Baltimore. He was unbelievable. His energy , voice and playing were spot on. He played for almost three hours straight. He is in great shape. He sold out the stadium (55,000) and no he does not do it for the money , it is what he enjoys.

You are always welcome Bill.

Our 10th anniversary is coming up and I hope that you can make it to that as well.

Will be there for sure if we are in town. It will be in August, I think is that correct? Or maybe September?
