California Roadster golf cart

We are interested in purchasing a new California Roadster golf cart. Can someone point us in the right direction? We visited a dealer down in Jupiter Fl a while back but they showed no interest in ordering one for us. Thanks in advance for any help.

You mean like this place, just on the edge of TV?

You should also check on local maintenance for this cart, while they are typically built on a 'standard' golf cart, they may have nonstandard wiring or other parts, with the result that local dealers may not be willing to work on the cart. I just had to help a fellow villager with a streetrod cart that she could not get serviced locally. Another neighbor had to get parts from California, and when installed did not fix the problem. I agree these look cool, but you need to have access to service.
I hope I am wrong on this, and maybe some owners can provide additional info.

Good thinking on these carts, I never would have given this a second thought.

WOW - $25k - and people complain Yamaha’s are expensive.

Not sure if Yesteryear carts are still around but their carts are pretty sharp looking.

Sounds like a very nice cart. Owners always keep these specialty carts in great condition.

I think I heard that Yesteryear Custom Carts was bought by Village Golf Cars, the older ones were built on a Club Car chassis & the newer ones built on a Yamaha chassis.

Is the Yamaha brand considering a new body design , new carts resemble 10 year old ones other than a few light changes.

I can barely afford my Kia but there is big money around here people are aching to spend. :1rotfl:

I used to own one a couple of years ago and sold it.
My husband and I belonged to the Classic Kart Club. California Roadster golf cart owners belong to that club.
They can tell you more about where to buy etc.
“ Reminder: AUGUST - NO MEETING

Monday, September 5th , we will have a short meeting at Seabreeze Recreation Center at 3:00 and thereafter, dinner at Sonny’s BBQ in Sumter Landing.”
Hope this helps.

Californai Roadsters are NOT built on a Club Car chassis. You might be told this, but it is 100 percent false. The Parts may look the same, but they are not interchangeable. Keep this in mind if you have a california roadster part only failure, you maybe waiting awhile for repair.
