The Creed movies were very good! They are connected to the Rocky films. Creed - Rotten Tomatoes

They made some of that picture in Sonoma County, CA where my parents lived in 1986-1995. The movie production trailers were just across the golf course green from our backyard in Rohnert Park. They were in the parking lot of what was the Red Lion Inn. Sylvester Stallone snuck in the hotel by wearing a nun's habit.

The first Rambo, no studio shooting, all outside and in a little town. No fake computer generated action sequences.

That was a very good movie.

Same here on the first Rambo.
And there was another later on with that black dude, in the future.

hypart 07-06-2022 06:31 PM

Rocky was great. But his best acting performance was Assassins.

Honorable mention is Antz. So funny.

Another vote for the first Rambo!

krick093 07-07-2022 05:13 AM

Aside from Rocky, Cliffhanger (more for John Lithgow than Stallone) and Cop Land

there's a funny scene in that movie when they are fighting in the taxi cab and the bus along side of them has a sign about gun violence

Funny Ones

Any of the later Rambo's. His Stand-up routines with Richard Crenna were hysterical i.e. Stallone and Crenna surrounded in the Dessert by 3,000 killers. Crenna says to Stallone "What are we going to do?" Stallone " I guess surrounding them is out of the question."

Chi-Town 07-07-2022 08:20 AM

Demolition Man

Salty Dog 07-07-2022 09:01 AM

Couldn't think of one at first but I agree Demolition Man was one of my favorites along with The Expendables (except for the last one).

mikeycereal 07-07-2022 09:10 AM

Rocky
Rocky 2

Rocky 4

It was his best

Loved Rocky and Rambo, but Oscar is my favorite.

I am not that familiar with Oscar.

This is also my favorite for the simple fact that several of the scenes were shot at a Hughes Aircraft facility in El Segundo, CA. where I was the Facilities Manager. The Taco Bell in the movie was set up in our cafeteria. Got to interact a lot with the crew.

Taltarzac725 07-07-2022 02:14 PM

My Mom and Dad went to see that movie Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot and both really disliked it. I thought it had some funny parts.

Very cool. Enjoyed Stallone and Snipes. Never saw Sandra Bullock before and enjoyed her performance also.

fdpaq0580 07-07-2022 06:59 PM

Guess I'm the only one who actually enjoyed Judge Dredd. Just for the simple fun of it.

tophcfa 07-07-2022 08:13 PM

First of both Rambo and Rocky, and cliffhanger.

Why do you want to know? What will you do with the useless info?

relate to other human beings. A noble endeavor

Pretty much a fan of anything Stallone does ( I even liked Last Blood). Great actor with a great story. Rocky 4 was the best of the series.

Rambo. Don't really care for him after it was reported how he treated his staff at home. Who knows. I take back Rambo, I'm taking a pass on Sylvester. I'm sure he'll be heartbroken.
