How to watch Seattle Seahawks games

Any ideas on how we can watch Seattle Seahawks football games (when the season starts) at home instead of going out to a bar/restaurant?

DirecTv has NFL Sunday Ticket season plan for all games except the ones Nationally Broadcast.

Last year I used NFL Game Pass to watch my favorite NFL team the Colts. It worked fine for me. Only draw back is you can't watch the game live. You however can watch it after the game is over. A 1:00 PM game is usually over around 4:15 PM and you can watch the broadcast at around 4:30 PM. Go play a round of golf come home and watch the game. NFL game pass is around $80.00 for the year. Works out better than going to a sports bar and paying $30.00 per sitting food drinks and tip. Plus you can control who is sitting next to you in your own livingroom. It is legal compared to the pirate sites that you never know if they will be available from week to week. You can also watch a game as many times as you want. (wife permitting)

NFL - Game Pass

Red zone gets you the important plays. Many teams don’t show on it because they have no highlights. Alternative is a 10 minute recap appears on YouTube after the game

Just a moment...
If you don’t own a SmartTv I would suggest AmazonFireStick and down load NFL ticket charges apply only for game season.

Buy an IPTV service. Cheap and you may have up to 50 options to watch any game as you will have access to nearly every local channel in the country

What's an IPTV service?

We just moved here in Jan from Seattle area. The craziness drove us out. One more beautiful city ruined by horrific policies.

Do you get Bills games, pre season and regular season?
Not a fan of going to a bar to watch games.

I just looked at this app. Doesn’t appear you can watch the game live but instead only follow live scores? I want to actually see the game not just the score or play by play. Am I missing something?

I googled IPTV which is Internet Protocol Television. It will take me a bit to read through it all and understand.
We do use Fubotv with a Firestick so maybe there’s a way that way to get Seattle stations?

NoMo50 07-30-2022 07:22 AM

You can get the NFL Sunday Ticket from DirecTV even if you don't have a dish, or subscribe to their satellite TV service. Call them, and tell them your community restrictions will not permit you to have a dish on your property. They will set you up with their app, which you can then use to stream games live. You must, of course, have the capability to stream. A neighbor did this last year so he could watch his favorite team. Worked great. Plus, it's cheaper than spending money at a noisy bar for overpriced food and drink!

This is looking like a good option. Thanks everyone! Can’t wait for the first game of the season - Seattle vs Denver. Go Hawks!

YouTubeTV. We were able to watch all Cowboys games except 2 and that had something to do with contracts, not sure. we could record and watch them later.

I have been streaming from nflbite.com, a Reddit site. I run a HDMI cable from my laptop to my smart TV. Free, but requires patience to close pop ups 4-5 times before getting to the live broadcast.

Yes, I can go 2 ways. Watch on NFL Network or pull up WKBW (I think they do the preseason games) and watch it there. As for regular season you have many options as games are played nationwide so many more "local" channels can be an option.

IPTV (Internet Protocol television) is a service that provides television programming and other video content. With our IPTV we have access to movies and series as well. Last I looked, I think we have 10,000 channels. This is all for $15/month. I also use a VPN so Spectrum cannot throttle my data back as everything is streamed over my Spectrum WiFi. Our plan has us at 200 mbps.

For our VPN, we use SurfShark. The other big guys like NordVPN and IPVanish killed our speeds whereas SurfShark does not.

For the IPTV, you will need a Firestick.

Here are the stations I receive from Seattle. Do any of these play the Seahawks?

Jacksig 07-31-2022 06:33 AM

Vpn

If you can stream get a VPN (about $5 per month). Select the server you want to connect to (in your case Seattle) then simply go to the station you watch the local games on. Works great!

You are incorrect. Seattle is safer than Ocala FL according to the FBI.

I watch through Kodi on my Firestick. You can youtube how to install it and then add "The Crew" to watch any blocked out sports event. Be sure to use a VPN if you're going to go this route to block your ip address.

Has anyone heard of or used Omni TV streaming service?

It is installed by a local Villager I think and has access to shows, stations and movies for free that far exceed any other content provider.

I am not a subscriber for it BTW.

I use a service called Seasons4U. Google them. Have used them for four seasons.

Several different packages, I spend about $60 and get every game played. A VPN is suggested but I have not run across anyone who has been smacked by any government agency. YET!

Forgot to mention. They have a feature called Mosaic that allows you to watch up to 6 games at once. Not always the greatest but it does work. Also, a lot of other programming, different sports, regular TV stations/networks, PPV, etc. depending on what package you purchase.

Pachine58 07-31-2022 01:24 PM

These cheap IPTV services are illegal, make sure you let people know they are breaking some serious laws if they get caught by internet providers.

Maybe everyone already knows this but any streaming service (except DIRECTV) that offers live out-of-market NFL games is illegal. DIRECTV has exclusive rights for one more season to broadcast these games. Stay tuned after the 2022 season as the NFL has said they will be moving this package to someone else.

Yes you’ll probably get away with it, with or without a VPN. It’s still illegal.

It's all fun and games until you get caught. If you do decide to go with one of these gray market providers use a good VPN service and pay by virtual credit card. If you don't know what I'm talking about you better use a legal service like FUBO, YouTubeTV or Hulu.

Yes it is. I know someone who subscribes to one but I can not find any case online where the consumer was fined or threatened with a lawsuit. He thinks it is legal. Apparently the law is not as clear cut as it was with piracy using torrenting. It has something to do with the fact that the person is not recording or storing it on a file. There is a difference between streaming and downloading.

The law is called Protecting Lawful Streaming Act of 2020 (PLSA).

If anyone can provide an example where the end user was punished in any way for watching an illegal IPTV stream please post it on this thread. Because if they ever do crack down on the end user it will be easy to find them since there is a money trail.

Thanks.

ithos 08-02-2022 11:39 AM

No matter who you are or what you do online. Everyone should be using a VPN that does not maintain logs.
