Manspreading
Guys, you might think it’s cool to hang your left knee or your left foot out of your cart while moving; do you have any idea what’s going to happen if that knee or foot hits an oncoming cart or an immovable object?
Get some common sense….. |

Years back I was driving a pickup truck doing about 60 mph with my left elbow out the window. A hornet hit my forearm hard enough to squash it, driving the stinger deeply and painfully into my arm. Not fun! Nor would it be fun if one of these leg-out-the-side drivers collected a hornet in the crotchal area. |
Never understood why people hang their left arm out the window. Too many things can happen none of them good
|
I recently saw a man with left leg out the side of the golf cart, but what really caught my eye was the loose BRACE already on the leg. Guess he did not learn his lesson??
|
I sometimes have to go into the other lane when passing one of these jutting legs. That is in a car. I have only seen this maybe once in 17 years being done by a woman.
|
Makes one wonder how in the heck did these morons live to an age to be eligible for retirement. But, on the other hand we do live in a free country and everyone is allowed to make stupid choices.

Does anyone remember the Burma Shave advertisements along the roads in the 1950's?

I once worked with a guy that had his left arm out the window, he was side swiped by a truck and lost his arm.

But, but, but, the boys really enjoy the fresh air. And those golf carts don’t have enough leg room.
|
Can I manspread on the golf course? Asking for a friend.
|
90% of the time when one of “those guys” pass by I look at them and, they are “hefty boys”. The gams simply do not naturally stay together…

But it’s so cool ,like driving half turned in the seat in the old days, Lucky Strikes ticked in t shirt sleeve. Or just plain dumb,

I hate to mention how I drive my Jeep when I have the doors off... :-)

Tough to drive when you have room for Big Jim And The Twins to be comfortable. Site the last day there way an extended leg incident in a Golf Cart in The Village’s! Come on. Enough B.S. already.

When I see guys doing this, it reminds me of the New Villagers Meeting we went to when we first moved here. It might have been someone representing the sheriff's office but that doesn't matter. Anyway he warned us to not hang your leg out as some folks found out the hard way that it might end up broken. I always wonder (even if it's "comfortable") why someone would dangle their leg on the outside as well.....manspreading notwithstanding.

Why should anyone give a hoot what someone else does with their body? It's their arm, leg, head or whatever. If they screw it up, they have to live with it. I don't see anybody complaining about other people's tattoos, tongue studs, nose rings, piercings, etc. Personally, I think they are ugly. But it's their body, their life, and if they enjoy it, then "C'est la vie"!

Growing up my parents said don't hang your head out the window it could get chopped off every time we went over a particular bridge. We thought they were just saying the parent thing to control us but as an adult we came to find out someone in fact was decapitated on that bridge!
