Any news on the local elections?

Curious about Commissioners....
I hear Webster won.

Northwoods 08-23-2022 07:52 PM

I actually found the results!
Ulrich, Bilardello, Bogue, Wiley won. Webster won. Temple is ahead.
(I was interested in Sumter county).

I don't subscribe to the Times. What does it say?

Rainger99 08-23-2022 08:49 PM

Loomer is alleging voter fraud.

Does anyone have the numbers for the commissioners’ race?

Daniel Webster - District Map | Congress.gov | Library of Congress
Webster lost in the county but the 11th District is more than Sumter County. So it looks like he did win.

Thank you!! That makes sense.

Lake went for Webster and Sumter for Loomer. Does anyone know in which county Webster and Loomer live?

 Not sure if Loomer has been in the District long enough to have a residence. ( B4 it starts.... that was sarcasm Sheldon)

A google search says Rep. Webster lives in Winter Garden. That I believe is in Orange Co.

Added:
Florida 11th. is Sumter, Lake, Orange and Polk Counties.

I also don't subscribe and was not "afraid" to click on your link. It opened a site where I was required to open an account to read the article.

Oter Fraud

Here we go yet again. Unless the outcome is what is wanted, it must be voter fraud.

No, don't know either one's address. She's an import from South Florida, where she unsuccessfully ran for Congress in 2020 against Lois Frankel, Democrat. Guess Ms. Loomer figured her ideology would work better in Sumter Co. but, as was pointed out, Sumter Co. is not all of District 11.

According to the internet, as of August 3, she spent $682,112 and Webster spent $428,275. From my research, it is very rare for a challenger to outspend an incumbent.

New York Times has a paywall. You can read "x" number of articles free per month or week, and if you've exceeded it you can't access it again unless you subscribe. There are also certain articles available free, but limited - you get a synopsis and if you want details you have to click a link, which directs you to subscribe to see more.

AdBlock Plus does not have the ability to bypass that, though clearing all cookies and trackers from your computer and then using a VPN and submitting a new e-mail account each time will let you read one article free. Seems a lot of trouble just to read one article, so I stopped bothering after the first time I did it.

If, so voter fraud claims, demands for recounts seems to be normal election procedure.
Reversal of any election, I'm not aware of a single one.

Lottoguy 08-25-2022 08:45 AM

"When we win election its an honest election, when we lose an election it is fraud"

It's really that simple now....
