Anyone recommend a reputable address sign organization for the front of my home?

Are you talking about the signs that many people have hanging from their lamp posts?

If so, "Signs by Jackie" has a good selection, and there's another guy who's at most of the "Market Nights" at the squares each month who also does a great gob. We used him and were quite happy with the outcome. Sorry, but I can't remember his name.

We bought from him at Brownwood, typically right across from City Fire and Scooples, on that side of the square...

It took 2-3 weeks for them to make and install the sign.

We used Jackie as well. We got a lighted sign after noticing it was hard to see the signs at night.

We used Bob Martin signs for our lighted lamp post sign, social cards and names for our golf carts. They come to Market Night at the town squares or you can go the their website. Reasonable and good workmanship.

Used Signs by Jackie and they installed the sign on our light pole for a few extra bucks. Was nice to see when we came back to our home

I never understood people putting their house number on their sign when there is a large perfectly readable house number on the house.

We picked out a sign shape, color, fonts, what else we wanted on the sign and they sent us a pic when they installed the sign (we were away at the time...)

My wife HATED those window stickers...

Plus, they were starting to be hidden by the branches of a tree by the window...

Plus, if you put your name on the sign, it's easier to remember names when taking a walk...

Now, she's talking about getting black cast iron or anodized aluminum house numbers to but vertically one the pillar by the front door or on the side of the garage...

Just another thing on the "honey do" list...

If you don’t need something super custom you can order one right at the UPS store. The guy will come out and hang if for you when it’s ready.

We used Signs by Jackie and are very happy with the sign. Also we had a gift certificate from our sales agent for Jackie’s. There are 3-4 others you can see at vendor nights or go to Ace hardware as they have them as well.

I’ve bought one of these twice on Amazon with good results. Heavy metal. Shipped from China. Arrived 8n about a month. Note, though, that the holes are placed for screwing into a house. I wanted to hang mine from the lamp post, so I had to drill new holes at the top and attach it with wire. The metal is soft and drills with standard drill bits, though not quickly.

Winston.....my house did not have a number on the house or window.....soooooo...when I bought my house, the realtor gave me a coupon for a free sign to be attached to the light post. VERY important to have if you have a medical emergency.

Signs by JACKIE. GET METAL as it can be repainted by them for small fee if you ever move to another house. We had ours blown off when we forgot to take down during Hurricane. Good quality didn’t even scratch after being beaten. Look to see if realtor gave you coupon in your closing package as added bonus. Lot of deign shapes and personalized hinges to choose from (golf,, flags, palms, martini glasses, planes etc. ) Congrats on your new home.

Ace Hardware (outsources to one of the vendors at Market night) - easy to design in the store, reasonably priced and delivery in less than 2 weeks. Have used signs by Jackie also- they are a 12 week delivery time- much depends on the style you want as to who the best supplier is.

We also used Signs by Jackie. They installed it for a nominal fee. We’re very happy with how it looks.

Go to Etsy.com and in the search bar, put "house numbers". You'll see a great variety of very beautiful and inexpensive way to do numbers.

We're using Signs by Jackie for the second time. Realtors give a coupon which helps. However, it's been 12 weeks since we ordered our sign and we're a week from their estimated delivery date. Consider the delay.

Metal vs. Plastic
 

You can buy a nice cast metal sign on eBay or Amazon that is far classier than a plastic one.

Our houses from 2007, 2010, 2012, and 2014, didn’t have numbers anywhere on the house. The number were reflecting sticker number up in the front window on every home. We were alway told never to remove, as the response teams looked for the reflective numbers in the windows. With GPS now I doubt that holds true.

Newer villages now have numbers over their garage, no longer in their windows

They didn't have numbers anywhere on the house, but had numbers on the windows?
