Hud. I had a Cadillac pretty much like his 1958 in the film except mine was a 1957. I was a senior in college when the movie came out and friends teased me about it as I was a bit of a cowboy, wore cowboy boots with a riding heel, not a walking heel, much of the time, and played all duded up in a country western band. lol
In a SW Airline jetway at LAX I almost ran Paul over. My family waited to exit the plane last as we needed to gather a lot of carry on bags. I had two bags under my arms and two heavier ones in my hands and was walking very fast. Turning a blind corner there was Paul wearing a white Hobie long sleeved T-shirt, pre-boarding. We both stopped just in time to avoid colliding, then went on. I turned to my wife and said "That guy looks just like Paul Newman." She said it was him. |

I can't pick one... Nobody's Fool, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid or Cool Hand Luke.

The Silver Chalice. I was just a little kid but still my favorite. And Jack Palance's role was scary.

can’t do a favorite, like picking a favorite chid. Also, picking a favorite Clint, Sean Connery, Kevin Costner, etc… is impossible as well.
Love the Sting, Cool Hand Luke, and the Hustler and most of all the others mentioned. I will stop and watch the Sting every time I scroll by it in the guide. |
