I'm always looking for a fun destination bar/restaurant to drive to on a nice day. What's your favorite?

Hurricane dockside restaurant in Leesburg super casual on the water, boats dock in the rear cars parked in the front, did I say super casual?

Puddle Jumpers, Tavares. Great burgers and you can watch the seaplanes take off.

Ski Beach

Actually, I’ve been to all the one’s mentioned. Looking for something new to me. They all were fine. Thinking of trying Eaton’s Beach next, maybe today.

Thanks for the suggestion. I spent 10 years at Bay Pointe. Miss the Marina Restaurant. I know there are condos there now.

The Freezer

We tried the Freezer once. The food was good, but the flies were very annoying. And we sat inside.

If you are craving steamed shrimp, it’s the place to go. Other than that it’s not a place I would return to.

INSIDE? THE FREEZER?? What were you having? Popsicles?

Been there a few times...

Decent burgers, but the rest of the food? Meh... Too much "fried everything"...

The Freezer in Homosassa, Fl. steamed shrimp to die for , an old fishing bait store very old Florida, very casual a great seafood menu big dining room ,huge outdoor dining, waterfront . Been there several times , note order the half order of steamed shrimp enough for two.

I like Eaton Beach. They have a restaurant/bar and fun beach/water activities. Nice outing and very close to TV.

Lake Eustis Waterfront Restaurant. Very nice place and great food and service.

May want to check out Gator Joe's last couple of food inspection reports, I won't be that desperate for a water view..

Only 10 minutes from Spanish Springs. Lots farther from “down south”, of course. Great Louisiana food.

Favorite Bar/Restaurant Outside of TV?
 

We really like Rusty Bellies in Tarpon Springs, FL. Fun place with good food and libations. We lived in Land o' Lakes, FL for a few years and enjoyed going to Tarpon Springs for Greek food (Hellas is great and the Greek beer, Mythos, is my favorite libation there), shopping, and participating in the Wine Walks they hold quite often. Be sure to visit "SpiceMan" shop for great spices, rubs, sauces, etc.

Some of the best shrimp I have ever had. Enough for 2-3 adults.

I enjoyed Ski Beach in Leesburg (sister to Eaton Beach) recently and if driving a little bit further is not an issue, Grills Tiki Bar - there is one in Orlando but the best one is in Cape Canaveral, right close to Jetty Park (day trip)

Eaton's Beach is one of our favorites. I like the wash day special half and half. Big Bass Grill in Lake Panosofkee and Cove Pub Restaurant near Inverness are also on our favorites list. Cove Pub has Airboat rides also.
