It's great to see the drought fade away. There's a website called Drought.gov and you can see Sumter or any FL county. I'm waiting for the next update.

Remember just a few weeks ago, there was a post along the lines of “is it ever going to rain again ?” 😂

And I suggested getting a few well endowed females to do a moon dance.

You can thank me now.

Thanks.

The retention ponds in Lynnhaven look good. At least a lot better than the golf courses around here. Belmont and Pimlico look pretty bad still as far as being green.

rjn5656 06-18-2023 07:50 AM

rain

4 1/2 inches in Bonita

Pond on hole 5 on Kenya filled up.

Alligator was having a ball yesterday.

TheWatcher 06-18-2023 09:35 AM

3.56 inches total here in Fenney measured by my Tempest weather station.

Floating rocks

The rain around here is apparently capable of making rocks float. Playing with my new strap-on aerating shoes yielded a surprise opportunity to make additional use of my equally new stand-up weed twister-outer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=px-KvLYTmzY

Every pond from Richmond to LSL (BV going up Morse back) is at its normal fill. Couple are over the normal water line, with submerged tree trunks and landscaping. Gators are very happy, ducks not as happy with the gators.

We had a FL soft shelled turtle end up in our backyard that’s completely fenced, with the closest pond around the block from us. No idea how she got there.

We saw a new pond formed in the grass by the Water Lily bridge yesterday, lol. Some areas of DeLuna got 5” of rain just yesterday (Sat) morning. Crazy!

We can give you a percentage of the tickets you sell. However think we need to find younger models to sell more tickets

Don't understand how when I dig a hole in the back yard, it fills with water. But the pond next to it can be low?
