$10 haircuts? Close to DeLuna

We'll move to TV next week- South of 44.

Is there a good nearby barber who charges in the area of $10- $15 for a regular haircut?

Thanks!

Try Brandi’s up on 301 in Downtown Wildwood - $8 plus tip.

From what I hear, you get what you pay for.

Kenswing 07-01-2023 02:06 PM

Cal’s at Brownwood is only $20. There’s a couple guys there that do a good job. Tried Brandi’s when we first moved here. Went twice just in case the first time was a fluke. It wasn’t.

Keefelane66 07-01-2023 02:21 PM

Brandi’s is just fine

If they are good, they won't be charging $10.
You can generally have cheap, or good, but not both at the same time. Rare exceptions apply.

ohioshooter 07-01-2023 02:45 PM

What separates a good haircut from a bad one, ‘about two weeks’.

Rwirish 07-02-2023 05:04 AM

How about the $2 cut? A far better deal.

Miboater 07-02-2023 05:38 AM

I tried Brandi's Place twice and it was not good. Two different "barbers" and both times screwed up a easy clipper cut. Now I go to Cal's or Fantastic Sam's at Lake Deaton plaza and they are much better.

I pay $15 plus tip at Great Clips.

I would suggest Cal’s at $16 plus tip, they have a number of talented barbers at either location.

Rande 07-02-2023 06:49 AM

My husbands first hair cut was Salon Jaylee in Magnolia. Totally shocked at the $35 bill and it wasn’t a good cut. Next Cals in Brownwood $20 but not quite as his cut in NJ but better than Jaylee. Final Brandi’s $8. Best!! Looked just like his cut from NJ. Don’t be afraid to try them.

Yes, Brandi’s. My husband is much happier with his cut here as compared to his first cut, which was at Cal’s.

Depends. Are you follically challenged or have TV News Anchor hair?

Two Bills 07-02-2023 07:14 AM

Bought my own clippers years ago, when barbers became 'stylists.'
No.2 all over, wash and walk.
Simple, and saved a fortune.

Cdannunzio 07-02-2023 07:30 AM

I’ve had good experiences with Professional Hair Cutters on 301. It’s a small place and kind of hard to find but the owner who works there knows what she’s doing and is reasonable.

LonnyP 07-02-2023 07:32 AM

Agree, I like Brandi's in Wildwood along 301. $8 but please tip them or they don't make anything.

flash4353 07-02-2023 07:46 AM

Bargain

Geez, you mean to tell me that for only 8 bucks I can get a haircut that will make me look like I'm from New Jersey?

MacScuba 07-02-2023 08:04 AM

Brandi’s rocks.

BlueStarAirlines 07-02-2023 08:33 AM

I tried Cal's at Brownwood twice and both times was disappointed. Tried Brandi's and has been good. Biggest difference is Brandi's will listen to you and give you what you want.

CosmicTrucker 07-02-2023 09:06 AM

Just don’t forget to write your name down on the list before you enter the waiting room at Brandi’s

Hair Cut

Agree got a hair cut there and will never go back. Butchered my hair.

Blueblaze 07-02-2023 10:14 AM

$10? Good luck with that. Why pay someone $10 to screw up your haircut when you can do just as bad a job of it yourself for free?

Personally, I quit paying barbers when the Houston "SuperCut" price hit $20.

Get one of these gadgets and do it yourself. I started using a flowbee way back when I was still a cubical dweller and nobody ever noticed. No, it's not as good as a good haircut, but those went out with $2 haircuts -- about the same time they removed "Playboy" from the magazine rack.

Believe me, nobody will ever notice.

Brands

Pay far more for far worse hair cut. Tell them what you want, hardly ever disappointed with $8 cut.

maistocars 07-02-2023 10:35 AM

Brandi's on 301 is the place to go!!

fdpaq0580 07-02-2023 10:37 AM

It's only hair, and it grows back (usually).
But, if you want to look like Burt Reynolds, you need a hairpiece.

Yep , I get exactly what I paid for in 15 minutes or less .

Pretty hard to screw up my haircut ! ;)

I started using a Flowbee when Covid started and I am happy with the results. If it's good enough for George Clooney, it's good enough for me.

I'm r-e-a-l-l-y spoiled.
My wife was a beautician and cuts my hair for the last 58 years and doesn't charge much,

RUCdaze 07-02-2023 01:38 PM

I hope you're kidding. Do you know what a $10.00 haircut looks like? Answer: A $10.00 haircut! I've been here for five years and I'm still looking for a really good barber, regardless of what they cost. Welcome to central Florida.

Keep them poor? Or, they charge more for same and make you poor. You're talking a freaking haircut for an old guy. How good does it have to be? Buzz cut, crew cut or
a butch, quick and cheap. For former military guys, remember recruit cuts? What do you really think that should cost. So fast you don't even have time to sit down.
Line 'em up. Shear 'em. Put a golf cap on 'em and shove them out the door.

mikelin 07-03-2023 12:23 AM

For the exorbitant price of $20 go to Cal's at Colony Plaza. Excellent staff.

I've been going to Debbie's Hair Loft in Coleman for 9 years. The cost is $20 but you get a great cut. All the girls are very good there but ask for Amy she is very good. When you get to the light at 301in Coleman and make the turn her shop is about an 1/8 mile on the right.

bncuhler@verizon.net 07-03-2023 05:59 AM

Brandi’s on 301

bncuhler@verizon.net 07-03-2023 06:01 AM

My husband goes there. It’s in the plaza by the Wildwood Post Office on 301. Two wonderful sisters. They do a great job!

banjobob 07-03-2023 06:35 AM

Brandi’s in Wildwood tell the barber how you want it cut. $8 bucks. Now if you still have all your youthful locks pay the $20 +bucks and go to Cal’s or other full service barber hair stylists, maybe your wife’s stylist can help you.

I have trouble paying some of these exorbitant prices for a men’s haircut, when I am in and out of the chair within 5 minutes. I get my haircut every two weeks, and it’s really hard to mess up my cut - so Brandi’s works out for me - now back when I was in my 20s and had much more hair, then I would have gone to one of these more expensive “stylists” - just doesn’t make sense at this point in my life.

Keninches 07-03-2023 07:55 AM

Cal’s is the best. You can request a barber and make an appointment.
