Nobody can control the weather no matter what they tell us. Only one can.

Default The Runaway Greenhouse Myth
Our current 7-year cooling trend is evidence of the runaway greenhouse myth. This myth, made popular by Carl Sagan, will be discussed June 2 at 4 PM at the Lake Miona Recreation Center for the Philosophy Club.

What calendar might you be using on May 30, 2023 we were at 7 years magically we went to 8 now we're entering 9years in just 2 months “ Hocus Pocus”

Correct. It's just data. It's of no value to reality.

When you’re just making stuff up, anything goes.

If there was any attention paid to detail at all it can easily be seen that we currently are on a warming cycle and have been for 100+ years. But hey, the facts shouldn’t get in the way of a good conspiracy.

We are still thawing out from the Little Ice Age. The question is ... why is there now a 9-year cooling trend?

My question was in your post of May 30, 2023 it was 7 years now it's going on 9 years your original statement was not factual, mistake or made up.

The answer is: there isn’t.

Pis poor data analysis combined with cherry picking makes a good conspiracy but r has no correlation with reality. AS EXPLAINED IN MULTIPLE PREVIOUS THREADS

Whatever. So why are so many glaciers growing?

7 years or going on 9 It's about being factual, mistake or made-up information try to stay on tract.

We'll talk about glaciers someday but no now.

Here's the data. You can make up your graph. https://www.nsstc.uah.edu/data/msu/v...cdc_lt_6.0.txt

What were the numbers again, 100 growing out of 200,000 total? And is the Hubbard glacier growing? I thought a post on another thread said it had receded miles (I haven’t looked that up yet)

EDIT: The Hubbard glacier *is* advancing according to the sources I could find. It must have been a different glacier mention that other thread.

The media does not willingly report it, because you're not supposed to know it's growing. Also, guess why the Glacier National Park stopped reporting on glacier status after 2020? The whole "man-made" climate narrative is a scam.

We talked about GNP before too. It looks like they *never* reported status. A researcher compiled the information for his paper but GNP didn’t report it. Once he was done with his paper he had no need to gather more info. It *would*be interesting to see what a follow up would reveal.

TLDR; GNP did not stop reporting, they never reported in the first place

Not true ... see atch image. They stopped reporting when it was obvious the climate was no longer warming -- and it was embarrassing to report growing glaciers. Believe me, if they were melting, they would certainly report it and claim global disaster - just like everything else. There is no climate change crisis - just a climate education crisis.

Yep, the dates from the research paper, just as I wrote.

Yesterday morning, it rained. The sun came out but sometime later, it rained again. Isn't that climate change?
