Best $15 addition to a golf cart!

I bought one of these from the guy on Etsy (link below). It works great! We use it on our golf cart. We use it for "birdie shots." We take a shot to celebrate a birdie on the golf course, and sometimes we take a shot to curry favor with the birdie-gods prior to playing the hole. Takes the standard little 2-oz shot cups of the red solo variety. Plastic window allows you to see how many cups remain, and the screw on top allows quick and easy refilling. Additionally, there are channel tubes molded into it so you can mount either by sticky-tape / command strips, zip ties, or standard screw for hanging. We got ours in a color to coordinate with our golf cart.

Great idea, but with my golf game, it wouldn't be used very often ...LOL

Where did you buy the fan? Battery? Plug? Rechargeable?

Thanks

It's a Klein Tools. Their stuff is orange. I wanted red (Craftsman, or Milwaukee) but they don't make the fans. Fan has a clamp and strong magnets for placing where ever you wish. Fully rotational (for angling air flow, not oscillating), has two speeds. Recharges via USB-C plugged into my laptop.

I think it was about $60 either at Home Depot or on their website.

Hope this helps.

We picked up two Koonie fans on Amazon a little over a year ago. They were $39.99 each. Rechargeable and three settings (Low 30%, Medium 60% & High 100%). Clips but no magnets. Two adjustments, Up / Down & Left / Right. No oscillation. Clip onto grandchild's stroller or take to the winery. They work great. I would purchase them again.

Here is the web site for them.

I am guessing many have no idea of birdie shots, since some posters, are appalled of this post.

That said, it looks plastic, and not a fan of putting any shots in plastic, in the heat of the day. We just spend extra money, and buy the small already prepared shots, and keep in our cooler. Returning them to fridge end of the round.

Curious. Do you or your friends drink and bowl, and then drive home? :beer3:

I'm pretty sure taking a shot before the hole would help my game....might have to try it

Just keep the bottle in a chilled cooler and save the $15

For many different things you can purchase those high power, rare earth magnets. They are not very expensive.

Drinking while golfing and while driving. LOL just kidding. I'm with the guy who wouldn't get to use may cups. Now if we were toasting double bogeys I would need a cab ride home

I'm surprised by the number of pearl clutchers.
Sheesh!

fdpaq0580 10-14-2023 11:24 AM

I never read where it mentioned WHAT the shots were that were being consumed. For those quick on the judgement calls, Gatorade anyone? Must stay hydrated and that could be a fun and novel way of doing it out on the course.

Dusty_Star 10-14-2023 12:32 PM

Nice garage. It looks like you redid the kitchen & kept some of the cabinets - smart move!
