Looking to get a sign to hang from our lamp post. Where have people ordered them and approx. price? I don’t want name just the address with maybe a pic on each side of the address. Suggestions!! Thank you.

A second for Signs by Jackie, ours has address, text and a graphic, and is several years old. They do the sign and installation, and I was able to get a new pet hanger after our pet cat passed away. great company to work with.

I was over at signs by jackie last week to have my sign re-mounted on a new poll. They were able to get me a new poll and attach it immediately.

A gentleman was in there inquiring about his sign order. He had ordered it three months ago and it still wasnt ready. One of the workers said they were backed up on new orders. Guess with all the new homes they are overwhelmed

Ace Hardware makes them. Don't remember the price, it was reasonable though.

Another vote for Ace Hardware. Lots of options for size, color, font, design, graphics…you’re actually designing a sign exactly the way you want it.

Signs by Jackie. She has a 3 month waiting period. The reason is she is in demand because her signs are the most detailed around. If you want a fairly simple one there are several options- as detailed in previous comments. If you want a ton of choices- some of them pretty complex, Signs by Jackie is the choice. We went to her shop to place our order. She is on 301. Cost was about $125. Ours is really nice.

I agree with kfierle. I bought a sign over 11 years ago , similar to the one below, from Dennis' predecessor. Still looks great.

Signs by Jackie does great job. If you haven’t closed wait. Chances are realtor will give you coupon for there. Also, note if ever move they can redo numbers for $25.
Reason put name on is for neighbors and friends to know name house alredy has number for EMT.
Her signs last especially upgraded ones. About $75 with two names, number, and two graphics

Bob Martin signs are laser cut. Our first one lasted 18 years and was still in good shape. We just ordered a new one from him as we wanted a new design. They came out and hung our sign within 5 days. So, as you can see, no long wait. We shopped and Bob Martin signs has the best pricing.

I’ve bought two of these. Very nice. The first one was metal, the second was a thick plastic. From the front, they looked the same. Good range of choices for styles.

We went ahead and ordered ours from "Jacki" 8 weeks ago. Still waiting. Well, the wifey ordered it. I just wanted *out* of the place. When we initially tried dealing with them we could get no reasonable response via email, so we finally drove over to their "office". Not an easy place to find. Turns out "Jacki" has sold the business. Had the opportunity to inquire about our emails with the lady in the accompanying room. That was when I got *really* motivated to leave. . .

We use signs by Jackie and they installed it on light pole while we were still up north.

Agree - Signs by Farris! At the time, $85 + $25 for each dog bone hanging off.

I ordered mine from Ace Hardware on 466 earlier this year. Many options and it was ready within 2 weeks of placing my order. I was replacing a sign from the previous owner and paid the nominal additional cost to have it installed - which was well worth it!

We did ours at Ace Hardware in the Spanish Springs shopping plaza.

They came and installed. Multiple options. Ours was a basic one for about $40 to $50 installed. Don’t recalled exact price honestly.

If you want a classy sign that will last forever and never fade, go on Amazon and order a cast metal one. They come in various finishes and shapes. Last time I checked, they were around $70.

My neighbors ordered theirs from Ace. It’s so faded it’s unreadable. It got that way around 5 years of age.

Suggestion
 

Another recommendation for Jackie, but before you select a vendor I would suggest that you drive around after dark and check out the signs. While many of the more elaborate picture signs look nice during the day, they are too difficult to read after dark and many of the metal signs are not lit at night and do not have good visibility. Our main reason for getting a lit sign was to make it easier for friends (and EMTs, to be realistic) to find our house after dark so we did day and dark surveys of neighborhood lamp signs to see which ones we liked and were decipherable after dark, then checked to see where they were from.

I think we are ordering our sign through Etsy. We have looked a while and have come to the realization that it’s just a sign.

My sign is of a similar design. It's 1/4 inch thick. "These items are computer routed from High Density Polyethylene. They are not painted and never need painting. They are guaranteed unbreakable and colorfast for many years." After 11 years, it still looks good and hasn't faded. I guess I should wash the tiny bits of mold out of the letters. It faces north. One of these days...
