Our granddaughter Taylor is entered to be on the cover and a shoot for a magazine. The casting director will pick the model. An additional part of it is a voting contest, which is almost over and the prizes are minimal, but I'm sure she doesn't want to see her profile only has a few votes.
You can vote 1 time a day from now until New Years day, no log on
is required, but voting needs to be done from a different computer.

Again, you are allowed to vote once per day from each computer.

If another of these competitions from the Summer of 2010 is any indiction of whom the casting director picks the popular votes play a very small part of the selection.

Some of the winners listed only got between 2 anf 6 votes and none seemed to do all that well with the popular vote.

I really would like to thank all the TOTV members who have voted for my granddaughter. Taylor currently has about 91 votes and is now about 115 out of about 1526 models thanks in good part to your votes. The popular vote doesn't really seem to count toward the model selection and the top few models have a bunch of votes but my goal was to at least get her some votes so she would gain some confidence. I think the voting is helping a lot and she is feeling good that people are voting for her - thank you again and remember you can vote each day up to 1/1/2011. :)

Not that it matters (I think it is cool what we are doing) but I'm curious if you told her what you asked us to do. I did feel sorry for some of the other girls with hardly any online votes. Too bad they don't have a cool grandfather.

Happy to help out......the pictures are great and she is deserving in her own right. Im not a believer in reality vote counts especially the big TV shows (ie American Idol or Dancing with the Stars) but im sure its great for the "teenage syc" just seeing the numbers jump every day.
