Searching for a reliable, honest place to have this service done? Any good shops or ones to avoid? Thank you!

Wildwood Tire, Sumter Tire, or Firestone. I would recommend synthetic oil instead of blended or regular oil. Expect to pay about $80 for the synthetic oil change, but it will last longer.

I go to Firestone on 466 in Oxford due to free rotation from a tire purchase. I've found Boulevard Tire in Lady Lake to be reliable for this service also.

I went to Kraken Automotive near Sparr lumber. Labor was one half of Sumter. You should at least check them out.

Sumter tire on 301(352-748-6556) They don’t take appointments just show up and they get it done. Have been using them for 4 years always honest !

I can no longer recommend Sumter Tire and Auto. Full synthetic oil changes used to be $90 which was reasonable but they now tacked on a $50 surcharge for foreign autos that need a cover removed to charge the oil. I paid my $140 and will go elsewhere from now on.

Have used this business for all maintenance, tire and other replacement parts. HONEST, knowledgeable and not overpriced in any way.

Goodyear on 441 in front of Sam’s Club. They are very honest. When I have been given quotes by my dealer, I have gone to Goodyear and they tell me what actually needs to be done. And it’s usually about half of what the dealer says needs to be done.

Stay away from Tire Choice off 466 behind Walmart. Overcharges and poor service are what they are famous for.

Stay away from the GERMAN outfit in Leesburg. They advertise factory trained mechanics. They have no equipment to proper trouble shoot malfunctions and double dip on labor prices.

I took a rental in with a very slow leak. They spent between 30-60 minutes looking for it (barely any microscopic bubbles). We agreed that airing it back up would last me several days until I returned the rental. They charged me nothing for their time! I even asked them, Don't I owe you something for your time, and they said no charge. While there, I heard them talk an older lady out of an expensive repair someone else told her she needed. She was at an age where confusion was obvious, but after spending a while explaining and re-explaining the reason for the fault code was just a bad battery cell, she said okay, they fixed it (replaced the battery) and sent her on her way. They seem VERY honest!

Have patronized Boulevard Tire (on old Dixie Highway) for years before retiring to The Villages, and have continued with them at their location on 441 OBT (Lady Lake). Nothing but top praise, kind of amazing to have the level of consistency, competence, and customer service they have maintained over decades ! Rare find these days.

Great service, reasonable prices, very thorough.

Wouldn't use them. Had them rotate and do synthetic oil and premium filter on F250. Was in hurry and couldn't do myself.
Just went to change the oil and the filter they put on was a crappy undersized economy filter. Makes me wonder what oil they used.

Prior to finding the above issue, brought my Mache to them because tire had slow leak. Kept telling me they were self seal tires and if didn't seal, need to replace all my tires. It was all BS.
Took car to Wildwood Tire, fixed the hole and off I went. Have not had any issues with tire almost a year now. BTW, my Mache doesn't have self seal tires.
