What actor best portrays you?

What movie actor do you think would best portray YOU?

Hubby Bill asked me that and it seemed to me to be a good question for TOTV.

I chose Betty White and Bill chose Sean Connery

Mudder 01-07-2011 05:21 PM

Diane Keaton for me.

eweissenbach 01-07-2011 06:25 PM

Interesting question; I'll go with Dick VanDyke

skyguy79 01-07-2011 06:54 PM

At first I was going to say Orson Wells, but I knew that he was no longer with us. Then I thought to myself, "Guess it don't make no difference anywho? http://members.cox.net/cew478/Emoticons/35.gif

Pturner 01-07-2011 07:27 PM

Meryl Streep because, um... It's Complicated. :D

BowleesCreekYachtClub 01-07-2011 07:34 PM

Jack Nicholson

Is the animated character "Goofy" considered an actor? :)

Bill

redwitch 01-07-2011 08:23 PM

Sally Fields or Julia Roberts -- a touch of comedy with a very serious undercurrent. Of course, given my true druthers, Kate Hepburn (but it that would be a dream, not even close to a reality).

chuckinca 01-07-2011 08:37 PM

John Travolta because I'm a dancing machine (don't tell Kathie I!)

If you're also animated and have long floppy ears, why not?

Tbugs 01-07-2011 09:56 PM

Well, whenever I go to the town squares (Spanish Springs or Lake Sumter Landing), I am always mistaken for Tom Selleck.

SALYBOW 01-07-2011 11:07 PM

ME???

Kathy Bates for me.

bkcunningham1 01-07-2011 11:45 PM

I asked my husband to pick for me. He said if you aren't talking about looks, just who the actor personifies, he'd pick Conchata Ferrell who plays Berta the housekeeper on Two and a Half Men for my personality. Hhmmm, I'm not sure how to take that. I'll sleep on it and then decide in the morning which side of his bread I'm buttering.

I asked my husband to pick for me, too, bk....he said, "That actress on that 'Hot in Cleveland' tv show." I said, "BETTY WHITE??" He quickly clarified himself and said, "No, Valerie Bertinelli!" Don't know what to think of that!
I love Betty White, by the way...am just a bit younger...hope to age as well as she has!
I would pick Jamie Lee Curtis for myself. Same haircut and I like yogurt too!

My son once told me that I was a cross between "Raymond's Mother" (Everybody loves Raymond) and"George Constansa's mother."(Seinfeld)----Don't think he was talking about looks!!! Didn't know whether to laugh or cry-----------

My mother was an identical twin in every way to 'Marie' of "Everybody Loves Raymond".
And she made me insane, and I ADORED her. Understood her too. Whenever I get lonesome for a remembrance, I watch the reruns and warm my heart!
Don't know how old your son was when he said that to you, (as age is relevant in this instance) but I would venture to say that he said it (or will remember it) with love and a chuckle. Consider it a compliment, he knows you love him abondanza!

LI SNOWBIRD 01-08-2011 09:54 AM

Rutger Hauer for me

2BNTV 01-08-2011 11:16 AM

I've been told I look like several actors from people I didn't know.

Al Pacino is my choice.

mac9 01-08-2011 11:17 AM

Television characters count? My wife and her sisters claim the personality and mannerisms of the character Jeff on the tv series Rules of Engagement are extremely close to mine. I watched the show after that and am not sure that was a compliment or not. I have since been working on toning down my sarcasm :evil6:

K9-Lovers 01-19-2011 10:39 PM

A short, plump Meryl Streep. Oh well.

Debfrommaine 01-20-2011 06:48 AM

Some told me - you are like Meg Ryan!!

barb1191 02-04-2011 08:20 PM

bump

gary42651 02-04-2011 08:31 PM

look and act like Harrison Ford, so I`ve been told,

Shimpy 02-05-2011 04:10 PM

I figured John Wayne, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Kevin Costner, Tom Hanks, or Clint Eastwood, but my wife said more likely Mickey Rooney, Don Knotts, or Woody Allen. What does she know???

TrudyM 02-07-2011 03:33 PM

The Saint Bernard that played Beethoven’s puppy in the second movie. You know starts out cute grows up big and clumsy.

BaylorBear 02-07-2011 03:40 PM

Been told by numerous people I look and act like Jean Smart (from Designing Women and The District)! But then again, all those people are old!!!:pepper2:

However, I will defer to their opinions!!
